Very friendly and charming place, beautiful grounds, far enough from the middle of town to enjoy peaceful nights with the sound of the waves and close enough to walk in through the beach to go grab a drink ! rooms...

We stayed at Hotel Catalina for two nights and loved it! The location is wonderful, with the beach almost literally right at your doorstep. Naomi and her mom were great, from getting us oriented on our first day to accommodating our request for a room on the beach side, to setting up our transportation back to the airport. The room...

This nice, small, family-run hotel is right on the beach. The rooms are pretty basic but very clean. Our room on the second floor had a great deck that overlooked the tropical grounds and had beautiful, vaulted ceilings. There was a small kitchenette with fridge. The pool was great and right across from the ocean. We walked the entire length...

Owners very nice people. Nice location on beach. Better prices than other spots. A/C not too effective. Bugs outside door numerous. Beds hard. Good kitchenette. What else to say? Surfing. Fishing. Good

Sandra and Naomi were very welcoming and accommodating and made sure all the guests were comfortable and had what they needed. The tropical gardens are BEAUTIFUL and receive lots of love and attention. It's a peaceful, quiet,...

We loved staying at the Catalina. It is our little price of Heaven on Earth! The Catalina is surrounded by natural beauty. The hotel is nestled between breath taking floral displays and the wonders of nature. The ocean is only short walk on the beach away from your room. The hotel itself is the perfect combination of relaxation and invigoration....

my husband and I stayed at this little beach front hotel. The location was perfect and the grounds were well manicured with lots of large tropical plants. The rooms need updating, the sheets and towels were worn and I needed to wear my flip flops in the shower. The rooms were clean just outdated. The a/c and ceiling fans kept...

This little hotel was perfect for us and is cute as a button. We stayed in an a/c room in the back where we found it to be nice and quiet. The room was super clean and spacious and we enjoyed sitting on the big balcony, looking at the gardens and ocean. Naomi and Sandra are warm and welcoming and...

Naomi and her mother are the perfect hosts for your beach holiday in Jaco. The rooms are clean and equipped with a small stove, large new fridge and utensils to cook your meal. Hot shower and daily fresh towels. Hotel is gated and there is a parking space in the back. Mattresses are good. Small swimming pool overlooking the ocean....
