My wife and I spend three nights here. It was amazing! Luxury in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle. We enjoyed some excellent hikes, whitewater rafting and swimming in water falls! Awesome! The staff and food were unbelievably wonderful. Highly recommend Rafiki Safari Lodge!
This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and we chose to stay at Rafiki because our well-traveled friend recommended this place as her favorite place in the world. We stayed at Rafiki for the first 3 nights, and we loved it so much that...More

Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a complete review. We are elated that you had a good time!
My entire family -- from small kids to grandparents -- agreed that the days we spent at Rafiki were the best days of our entire trip. The food was excellent, the staff was lovely, and Jonelle went out of her way to put together a...More

The Savegre Valley brings cool breezes from over 12,000 feet down to the camp, so it is quite pleasant at night. Rafiki is not really all that buggy. You will find the beaches in the country to have more bugs. We (unfortunetaly in my opinion) have improved the internet at the lodge. You don't have to tell your kids, but yes there is good quality wifi. I prefer to see family play cards, engage in conversation with other families, sit in the hot tub and watch the stars, or go down the slide at night (yeooow!).Let me know if you have any other questions! Sincerely, Lautjie
