We loved Rafiki Safari Lodge. The management was top notch- professional, nice, caring and accommodating. They run a great business model here and are very clear and up front with costs, like things that are and aren't included. What a pleasure to check out of...More

Thank you for the great review. Our staff really enjoys what they do and we are so glad you could see this reflected in the guided tours, cleanliness in the rooms and dining room service. We focus a lot on our cuisine knowing you don't...More
This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and we chose to stay at Rafiki because our well-traveled friend recommended this place as her favorite place in the world. We stayed at Rafiki for the first 3 nights, and we loved it so much that...More

Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a complete review. We are elated that you had a good time!
This was BY FAR the best overnight accommodation of our trip. We had read the reviews so we knew what we were getting into but it was exactly the type of lodging we were looking for and it definitely did not disappoint. The kids loved...More

The Savegre Valley brings cool breezes from over 12,000 feet down to the camp, so it is quite pleasant at night. Rafiki is not really all that buggy. You will find the beaches in the country to have more bugs. We (unfortunetaly in my opinion) have improved the internet at the lodge. You don't have to tell your kids, but yes there is good quality wifi. I prefer to see family play cards, engage in conversation with other families, sit in the hot tub and watch the stars, or go down the slide at night (yeooow!).Let me know if you have any other questions! Sincerely, Lautjie
