Stayed one night while en route to San Jose from Bocos del Toro. Basic room for what we paid. Little bit of own personal feedback...Lighting needs addressing. Small bedside lamp would have been handy. Reception area fairly well equipped however would have benefited from a more comfortable chill out area. First impressions were its not all that zen but there...

Originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 8 and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The owner, Jordan is a wonderful host and his staff are the best. They were very personable and helpful which made our stay a most memorable experience. The hotel was clean, the rooms comfortable and conveniently located. We stayed in a deluxe room...

We enjoyed our time in Puerto Viejo. It is important to note that the area does not have any five-start hotels, so if that is what you want, you are actually on the wrong side of the country. That said, there is still choice. In this review, I will cover the following information: Location and Hotel Facilities and Staff. Location...

Stayed here for 5 nights in the Geisha room. The room were nice with a large bathroom with a jacuzzi, which we didn't use. There were some problems to get the right temperature of the water in the shower, either it was very hot or cold. The last 2 days we had some problem with a bad smell in the...

Had a really great 7-night stay and would definitely go back! There was a large group of us, occupying several of the rooms. Jordan (owner/host) was very responsive during our whole planning process (which is something to definitely be appreciated when trying to plan a trip for a large group). When we arrived he was there to welcome us and...

We arrived a lot later than planned from Arenal, due to horrendous weather and an accident on the main road. When we arrived, the manager informed us they closed at 8 p.m (we arrived at 8:30 p.m) we were made to feel like we were privileged that they were open for us! Although the late arrival was not our fault!...

We stayed here for 2 nights and had the Kamikaze room, it is a huge room. We loved that this hotel was different the décor and vibe is quirky. The chap who runs the place in very knowledgeable and helpful, he is originally from the states so speaks perfect English, we also hired a couple of bicycles and went out...

We stayed at The Lotus Garden for a week for my birthday and really enjoyed our time there. Due to booking rooms at the last minute, we had the opportunity to check out their 3 levels of rooms. Staff: The owner Jordan is superbly helpful and friendly, and gave us very good suggestions on activities and restaurants. He always went...

My girl friend and I stayed here for a couple nights back in September. The room was a good price and perfect for what we needed it for.. It's not the most up to date rooms, the lighting is a little dark, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable thing ever but it was clean, there was hot water in...
