We were in the Salsa Brava Cottage for a week. They are undergoing some renovations so the kitchen was not open. The noise was not noticeable at all though. The Yoga platform had an amazing view of the Caribbean sea! As did our cottage! The little bridge at the entrance is too old for the shuttle vans to drive over...

So my husband and I stayed here recently and while we enjoyed the overall experience, decided to check out early and get back to the comforts to which we are accustomed. With that being said, the property itself is beautiful and the cottages are very charming. There is no AC but it is easy to cool down after showering and...

Wow, just wow! This is one of the most gorgeous properties I have ever stayed on. Lush vegetation. Still a work in progress. The only drawback for me was the walk up the actual hill, but it got a little easier each time. There is a very zen feel with the yoga studio being situated in a huge open building...

My grandson and I had stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our 11 day trip to the east coast. Our other 2 lodgings were more secluded and we were without vehicle so I wanted something close to Puerto Viejo. I loved the looks of the rooms with all the pretty colors. Our prior lodging was beautiful and...

We had the pleasure to stay here for two nights and were happy with the simple but comfortable "Pura Vida" house with three bedrooms. My reservation by phone was handled by a very friendly and professional manager. She called me to confirm our time of arrival to make sure someone was there to welcome our group of four. The house...

Located within 5 mins walking distance from Puerto viejo center, these cottages offer a pleasant home for groups of travellers. We spent a couple of nights here with a group of friends. The cottage we stayed in was ideal for 5-8 people, with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen/living room/terrace and 2 bathrooms. Our cottage had a magnificent ocean view and was...

Friendly staff. Very close to the beach and to the nice village. An awful lot of insects on the balcony in the evening. A feeling of small animals everywere. Not very clean. Some problem with the water. Strongly recommend the cacaotour at Carabeans Coffe and Chocolate! Stunning view!

Stayed here with some friends and rented a lovely bungalow with sea view (just a tiny bit😊). But for me as a yogi the best thing was the yoga platform from where you had an awesome view on the jungle and the sea. The whole area is very clean, only the mosquito nets could be renewed as they had a...

The place is great, nice and comfy, rooms are very nice if you want to be away from noise and electric artifacts, just your bed, the jungle around and a nice hammock. The staff is super friendly and ask for the Yoga classes. It is just 10 minutes walking distance from Puerto Viejo main road, where you can find the...
