What an enjoyable place! My wife and I stayed here for a week as part of our honeymoon in Costa Rica. Very rustic exotic bungalows and lush vegetation. Juan is was friendly and nice. Breakfast every morning was good and delicious. Fresh fruit and juice or eggs! The open air restaurant had good quiet dinners too! This place is one...

This was a wonderful place to stay. The food was beyond fabulous, we didn't want to eat anywhere else. The beach across the street was so beautiful, the ocean was perfect for swimming and even surfing some days. We rented bikes and rode to the near by areas. The zipline tour, quad tour and ocean fishing were great experiences and...

First off, Puerto Viejo is a very long bumpy drive to get to and isn't the cleanest of locations in Costa Rica, that being said, Azania Bungalows is a sanctuary paradise unto itself. Even though the Caribbean beaches are across the street, we were just as happy to relax by the pool. The food was absolutely first class, probably the...

While it is difficult to find fault with Azania Bungalows, it somehow doesn't quite make it. The bungalows are perfectly pleasant but lack a homey feeling. For example, there are no comfortable places to sit. For that matter, the whole place is lacking in comfortable nooks and crannies. The grounds are lovely and meticulously kept but a little too well...

We stayed there 3 years ago and enjoyed it. But tried to book a reservation recently and their online form didn't work. Then we called their phone and tried to book and they simply could not hold a reservation despite them having space. I tried everything to give them our money... 30 minutes on the phone with 2 different people...

My fiance and I stayed there for one night in March of 2005. We were not impressed with the rooms. The mosquitio netting smelled as if it had not been washed in a very long time. The bathroom looked and smelled moldy. We originally booked for four nights, but only stayed for one. I guess I was expecting a very...

After a lot of research I found Azania Bungalows online and I am so happy we stayed there. The bungalows are fantastic, the service extremely friendly and their tours are fantastic (go to Bocas Del Toro!!! Staying overnight for at least 1 night is best). Although the breaksfast was fantastic and I recommend just staying for breakfast in the mornings,...

We enjoyed our stay at Azania. The bungalows are clean, spacious and screened in (we didn't have to use the mosquito net they provided). Each has a front porch with a hammock and two benches. The hotel grounds are nicely landscaped and a short walk (2-3 min) from Playa Cocles. The pool area is nice and restaurant is great, although...

I held my wedding at Azania in mid May. This place is beyond anything that I could have imagined! I scoured the Internet and did tons of research to find out anything that I possibly could about this place and let me tell you that then I arrived I was blown away! Our family and friends filled out the entire...
