I absolutely loved my stay here. I felt safe and was free from bugs inside my cute little room. It was very clean and close enough to the beach to walk. Reasonably priced and excellent staff. They even have bikes you can rent to ride around the town. Two thumbs up 👍👍

I feel I made a great choice with Coco Loco. I was very close to walking distance to the beach, nightlife, shops etc. I also felt very safe on the hotel grounds and you can hear several different wildlife species which was a bit scary in day one but afterwards I looked forward to it. The staff was very friendly...

We took a chance and checked in to Coco Loco Lodge at night and without much advance research. We were not disappointed. It's walking distance to the village and beaches so that was great. The rooms are clean but simple. I always feel better when there is a net over the bed so that was nice. It was a great...

BEAUTIFUL property! We arrived around 10 at night on the bus from San Jose. We had no problem walking to the grounds from the bus stop. After a long day of travelling we finally arrived at Bungalow 2 and enjoyed the most refreshing night of sleep! The lighting in the room was just right (very romantic), the bed was so...

There is a nice outer area to relax. The outside of the cabana looks great but inside needs some attention. We had to bring a chair in from outside to have a place to sit inside. There is a fan that keeps the air moving and a mosquito net around the bed. I received some serious bug bites so keep...

We were looking for a hotel and wandered upon this property. Lots of little cabana type buildings. They have a little age to them but are super clean and very convenient to town. They have a great breakfast and accommodating staff. There is a beautiful beach nearby, the only downside is the litter. It is evident that many have no...

This place is amazing, it is close to the town. You have your own balcony. There are a lot of places in the garden where you can chill and relax. The staff is friendly . If you pay cash at arrival it will be cheaper. You can rent a bike there aswell.

A beautiful retreat in the outskirts of the lively little beach town Puerto Viejo. Here is everything combined: a quiet retreat packed with palm trees that is in walking distance to Playa Negra, supermarkets and other shops, restaurants and bars. Pura vida. The staff is friendly and helped us with everything from giving tips where to go, where to eat...

Comfortable and met our simple needs. Very rustic and very dark room however it has a nice balcony where you can have a nap in the hammock. The hotel gardens are nice and n'sync with nature. Walking distance of 5 blocks to the beach and so easy to find. Be careful at night walking toward the hotel as it is...
