This hotel is beach front and it has kitchen in the rooms that allows you to save money. I stayed in a room with good AC and tv. The location is very good and we enjoyed the breakfast very much, the jam is home made by the owner and its very typical.

We wanted a beachfront suite with kitchen and Agapi Resort is the only one that can give this service in Puerto Viejo. Excelent rooms with all conforts just a few meters from the sea. The sea sounds will make you sleep as never before. Miss Cecilia, the manager, is really an outstanding woman that will help you in order to...

We stayed in this hotel in februari 2014 and really enjoyed our two nights there after a week of backpacking and low class hotels in northern Costa Rica. We booked a standard room, which comes with a fridge and airco. The bathroom was really clean (unfortunately the bathroom window could not close, so small lizard came in haha) and bed...

Our room was basic and rundown. The bathroom window was broken and didn't have a screen so we had to keep the bathroom door closed at night so the bugs wouldn't come in. Our room had a fridge and good TV. There was hot water but the shower drained so slowly I was ankle deep in water by the end...

We have a puppy. An energetic and sometimes noisy puppy. No problem at Hotel Agapi. We did not receive a single complaint. They have a separate wing of apartments for pet owners. (If you are NOT bringing a pet, request the rooms overlooking the pool that are far removed from the pet owners units.) Our apartment included a full kitchen,...

we found the place by looking around for a hotel at the beach a little outside of Puerto Viejo, we got the apartment #7 upstairs with 2 big rooms incl. kitchen and balcony for 120$ a night, so we stayed there for 5 days, the friendly owner is from Greece and studied at the technical university in Vienna like me

I was supposed to stay several nights but after 2 nights i decided to move away in a hotel called namuwoki, little bit expensive but way more welcome. The room are...

A really well placed set of apartments. A short walk back up to the energetic little town of Puerto Viejo while being far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet of the Caribbean coast. Then a short walk (4 mins) the other way took you to Playa Cocles, a beach that looks more like paradise than you could even imagine....

Hotel was ok. We had a huge room upstairs but would not say it was as clean as it should have been. The windows looking out to the ocean had not been cleaned in years. Owners and staff great. Pool nice. Location good for visiting the Jaguar Center which is why we were there. As we were upstairs we did...
