I liked this hotel for the sake of new and interesting experiences. Is this my cup of tea? Not really. There is no air conditioner, only fans and open windows. Windows stay closed for practically the entire duration of your stay because 1. I want to be save at night 2. I need my stuff locked up while I'm away...

You have got to see these cabins! It is like the ultimate jungle cabin experience, but civilized. Picnic table, hammocks, and comfortable beds. My family and I were in transit from San Jose to Bocas del Toro, stayed for only a single night, but wanted to stay longer. I did not get to look around extensively, but I would say...

We were visiting for an athletic competition and I can honestly say the experience was great! The staff was super friendly and helpful, even helping me coordinate a extra early breakfast before the competition. We stayed in the dolphins room which was very comfortable. A little bit noisy in the morning, but this was no surprise as it was advertised...

Our stay here was perfect. The office staff were very helpful with all of our questions, and our room was spacious, with mosquito nets and ceiling fan and soft beds for comfort. On our arrival, they welcomed us with a glass of icy fresh fruit juice. We got there before check-in time, and they were nice enough to stow our...

We had a wonderful visit here, we love the layout the seclusion the quiet and the friendly staff to include: Hazel, Jason, Marva, Yilda, Owen, Eddie and his family. My wife was sick and they helped nurse her back to health and allowed our vacation to finish on a high note. Great fauna and Flora and the general vibe was...

Had a very pleasant stay at this funky "hotel" just across the road from the beach. The front porch is covered and has beautiful wooden dining table and chairs, a hammock and wood flooring. The roof is a thatched affair that perfectly blocks out the rain. Inside is also wood floored and walled, with some open air and screened Windows,...

We are so glad that these guests enjoyed the bungalow and our attention to service with a smile. We had to replace calcified faucets to restore normal water pressure. The sediment in the local water requires mindful maintenance ever in the showerheads.

A beautiful place to stay in puerto viejo. Peaceful and quiet in a jungle type setting but also directly across the road from Cocles beach. 1km from the centre of puerto viejo. My hundand and I stayed here with family and friends to celebrate our wedding. The service from Eddie and staff from start to finish was top class. The...

After checking in 7 different hotels in Puerto Bueno we finally found one that was pet friendly. You would think that in an area where nature is the main attraction, more places would accept your furry kids but you'd be wrong. However, don't panic! La Costa de Papito is out to the rescue! The place is nice, clean, secure (night...

Beautiful property and less than 5 minute walk to the beach. The staff was extremely genuine and so nice. The bungalows are amazing and set the vibe for our jungle vacation. The owner and his wife were very welcoming and we had an excellent couples massage while listening to forest sounds. The spa is right on the property. The bungalows...

We had a great stay at La Costa De Papito. Brilliant cabinas / bungalows with Flintstone-esque bathrooms! Loved it! Mosquito nets provided above beds, loads of storage space, ceiling and floor-standing fans, safety deposit box in room, water on tap in Reception area so that you can fill up bottles. Fantastic covered terrace area outside the cabin - with chairs,...
