We were extremely well looked after at the Blue Conga from when we arrived. Lovely French lady Stephenie was a great host and couldn't do enough to help us. Room was clean, good size with a massive comfy bed and balcony. Nice to wake up to the sound of the birds and other wildlife. Short easy walk into town. Small...

We found Hotel Blue Conga on Trip Advisor, because we wanted a relatively inexpensive place to stay near Puerto Viejo. We planned to stay just one night, but ended up staying two. The couple running the place - Stephanie and Eric - are just fantastic. They're French ex-Pats who just love Puerto Viejo, and they're so incredibly helpful and kind....

Great, cozy, little hotel. Staff is friendly and beds and breakfast are good. Location is good for surfing and going to town. Minor minus is the bad road, but so are many roads at the coast of Costa Rica.

I stayed 3 nights here with my daughter for her 16th birthday trip. For the most part it was good and I'd come back. Stephanie was very kind, stayed at the desk after they closed to receive us. The location is very good- away from all the commotion downtown, but only about a 5 minute walk. The pool was OK,...

My husband and I stayed at Blue Conga for 3 nights in early November 2014. When we arrived, Eric greeted us with a smile and showed us around the lovely property and to our room. We stayed in room #11, an upper level room with a private balcony. The room had a refrigerator (the only room during out 9 nights...

This was one of the most amazing experiences at a hotel we had ever had. We were politely welcomed Gabby, and she was lovely and showed us to our room. We then met Oliver who was their handyman and he was also very friendly. The next morning we met Pierre and Marisa (the owners) and they put on an amazing...

Lovely hotel with a laid-back vibe, a great location and super-nice staff. The bed was the most comfortable we had in Costa Rica! Owners were very friendly and really went out of their way to help us out with some paperwork we needed. We loved the Blue Conga!

This is a little paradise! In October/November we stayed 22 days at the Blue Conga, we weren’t planning to stay there that long when we first arrived, but because it was such a pleasure we could not leave. So be careful you really do not want to leave when you first have settled in… What is good about Blue Conga,...

Owners and staff make a special effort to make your stay in Puerto Viejo a memorable experience. Owner Stephanie took her time to call cabs, draw maps and line up tours for us. The Blue Conga has a great laid- back atmosphere. Great choice!
