The location is just brilliant. Beautiful and quite beach. The room was ok but the bathroom was a bit smelly, especially after a few days ( we stayed for 6 nights) Staff did not change towels and towels were always wet and became smelly and disgusting at the end. Also we did not like the dogs of the owners. They...

Clean and funky cabinas right on next to an amazing and quiet beach. It was great to be away from busier and not so friendly puerto viejo. Friendly and accommodating staff. No breakfast but a nice open kitchen. Also, free bikes were great to explore the region.

This was not our first choice for a hotel but because of unforeseen circumstances we needed to book a room on a short notice in a town that has many tourists this time of year. Nice rooms are hard to find but we were able to book this room. I must say that the proprietor did try hard to make...

We stayed at the cabinas for three nights. I think that the Cabinas Punta Uva was one of the nicest places of our 3 weeks stay in costa rica. the cabina was nice and clean and we had a huge terrace with a kitchen. But the best thing is the extremely nice and helpful owner who even took us downtown...

Imagine sleeping in a cabin in the middle of the jungle and waking up to the sounds of the waves of the Caribbean Sea, the chirping of birds and the roar of the howler monkeys in the tree outside the cabins. You put on your swim wear and walk two minutes to the most beautiful beach to watch the sun...

Quiet place by one of the Best beaches in the area, Punta Uva. The hostel is really nice with big rooms and balcony with hamacs. At night you can hear monkeys, frogs and also see sloths if you get lucky. The staff is kind and helpful. I would improve the matress though, they are a bit hard. Breakfast is not...

The location was good right on the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and spacious however we felt they were a bit over priced for what they were - basic facilities. There was a kitchen which was useful. It felt more like a private room in a hostel but cost a lot more than this.

Absolutely loved our experienced here. Ariadna and Domingo were so hospitable and helped us even plan the rest of our trip. They went out of their way to make our experience there a memorable one. The cabins were comfortable and a good size. Wifi worked great. There's a kitchen which was convenient. The cabins is located in the rain forest...

The place was amazing, right in front of the beach and surrounded by lush forest. You can see sloths, monkeys, etc. The place is very clean and comfortable, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We lived our stay there!

We spent almost two weeks here and loved it.The cabinas are steps from the beach, Punta Uva, which is the best swimming beach around and very uncrowded (until Easter week hit). We had both sides of the separate cabin, which worked well with a teenager- the other option is a self contained cabin attached to the owner's house, which also...

“Just a little ways out of town so you have to watch for the sign. Location is great because you can travel in either direction and have a great choice of fine dining and beaches. There is no pool or fitness centre nature has provided that”

“When they say two to a room, they mean it. The rooms are perfect for two people but three or four people and you just can not move.”
