The combination of an attractive modern villa with generous terracing, a stunning garden, fine views over the San Jose valley, tastefully furnished rooms together with the cooking, of Michelin standard, by owner chef Rob would be hard to beat in any country. In Costa Rica the impact was irresistible. Surrounded by coffee plantations it is a haven of peace and...

We began our Costa Rican vacation at Casa de Flores. Our room was very large with a comfortable king-sized bed and a spacious bathroom. The view from our room was fantastic, overlooking a coffee farm and down into the valley. Each night we were treated to spectacular sunset while sitting on the large and beautiful veranda. On our first night,...

Casa de Flores is a cozy, comfortable, and child friendly villa with spacious king sized, in-suite rooms, sitting atop an elevation of over 4000 feet. Depending on what side of the villa your room is on, you may peer out below and oversee the city and a coffee plantation, or if on the other side of the villa, the outside...

We have been to Costa Rica 7 times to visit family. This spot is a favorite for its hospitality, for its relaxing vibe and for eating some of the best food we have ever had thanks to Rob, the owner and chef. The setting is spectacular with gorgeous sunsets and city/garden views. Rooms are very reasonably priced, comfortable, and large....

A good location when planning visiting Volcan Poas and La Paz Waterfalls, (which we didn't because of the bad road conditions that direction and as we were driving a rented car). When you're a city lover, good location for visiting San Jose. Wonderful place, nice villa, garden and view. Private parking space. Emilie the manager is very friendly and helpful...

I stays at the aptly named Casa de Flores and its magical garden for a week while on business in San Jose. The manager (Emily) was delightful and arranged everything for me (taxis; trips; yoga; dinner; massages) leaving me to just enjoy the splendour of the garden and the view. I feel utterly rejuvenated! I will be back... if only...

My husband and I, along with another couple, spent a week at Casa De Flores in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. It was our first time traveling out of the USA and everything went very smoothly- thanks mostly to Emilie, our hostess. The home and the grounds were beautiful, spacious and secluded. We had...

My wife and I spent 7 days at Casa de Flores over Christmas and had a great time. Emilie (the property manager) and Freddy (the chef / all around helper) made sure that everything went smoothly. The homecooked food was great, and when we were tired of meals that were on the menu and just wanted a sandwich or pizza,...
