We ate here twice in the last week. Belgian waffle was huge, covered in fruit with whip cream and syrup, American breakfast was very good. Dinner was a chicken cordon blue and avacado with shrimp...both tasty and large portions. Service typical Costa Rican time, but food was fresh, portions generous and price fair. Great place, nice atmosphere. Honest waiter at...

I've lived in Costa Rica for 5 years now and come to Tamarindo to visit friends almost every other weekend. This time I was very disappointed. The worst part about this place is the staff. Very rude and even sexist towards a girl within our friend group. Uncomfortable beds, Air conditioning barely worked and it seemed as if they hadn't washed...

Perfect place for CLEAN AND SIMPLE room... Options of 1 double bed, or 1 double and 1 single or 3 single beds... Access to community kitchen so you can save money and cook some food... beach is literally right in front on the other side of the street..less than 90 seconds walk.. very safe, staff always on duty even at...

This place was uncomfortable, pretty unimaginative and the staff was rude. We had booked a Cabina for 5 and the beds were just terrible with awful thin sheets. No AC which I mean... for 20 bucks you expect at least some AC or better beds. I wasn't expecting the Ritz but I was expecting more. The staff was rude and...

We stayed three nights. The location is centrally located in the heart of the busy beach area. We had two rooms for five people. One by street. One further up on property. I suggest specifying the higher up on the property cabins if you're staying on a Friday, Sat or Monday since a nightclub shares a wall with the lower/by...

Uff. This was the least personable place we stayed at during 9 days in CR. We stayed in the lower building which did have A/C... and red ants. The Aqua night club next door is 5 feet from the head of the beds. The club thumps and booms until 5:00 am on weekends, with a break on Sunday night and...

We had an end room with 2 beds, a/c and a mini fridge. Out front were 2 nicely painted chairs, a table, and a comfy hammock. It was clean and quiet. The garden setting was lovely. The location right next to the surf board rental shop and across from public beach access and the surf break was perfect. If you...

I have traveled all over the world and I have never hated a place until this. This town is absolutely awful if you want a true Latin experience. Everything is over priced. I paid 10 dollars for "cheap" beers here and 4 dollars for the cheapest loaf of bread I could find. Everything is Americanized and just like being in...

A few steps and you are in the beach. Now, keep in mind, rooms are small, this is no hotel, but who wants to stay on a room when Tamarindo, Langosta and Avellanas beaches are around the corner? Its simple, but nice. Safe and quiet at night. Wake up early, go to surf and enjoy Guanacaste with a good price/value...

The room is adequate but the cabins were built 25 years ago and looked it. But the Costa Rican owner Marielos is charming and made me coffee one morning and invited me to share breakfast with her the following morning. It's right across the street from the ocean and is set in beautiful gardens. It is quite reasonable compared to...
