This is a super chill hostel. Got a free beer on arrival (can't go wrong) and every Friday they do a BBQ where you everyone puts in what amounts to a very small amount of money for a hostel BBQ. The food was dee-licious. Obviously it's not compulsory but if you can, get involved! The hostel isn't too big so...

This hostel is excellent, perfect for finishing off a big trip. Very peacefull and relaxing. The owners frequently hang out at the hostel, making it feel like a family environment. Be sure to stay there on a friday, hostel matilori has a bbq buffett style meal every friday for very cheap. The food is great and the majority of the...

Matilori is one of the nicest hostels we've stayed at, and definitely the most welcoming! Fran and Jen do everything they can to help, and it makes for a great stay. The dorms are clean and comfy, and the kitchen in really well stocked. The garden area is great, perfect for relaxing on the hammocks or bed swing. Really good...

This is a nice hostel with clean rooms, two well equipped kitchens and a great patio where guests hang out. We found it to be a very sociable hostel with nice owners Fran and Jen. Downside is the rooms can get quite hot and the fan doesn't work so well. Also, when the place is full there are 10 people...

A very nice and relaxed hostel. The people that work here really make it great. Two well equipped kitchens and hot showers! Only downside is that the rooms can get quite hot and some of the fans don't work so well. Overall a lovely place to stay.

When we first arrived to Matilori, we were only 4 people in the hostel. The night after, the hostel was full with around 15 people. The problem is that we are 15 people for only 1 shower and two toilets. I found it very disaccommodating since I paid an extra fee to have a private room when all of the...
