This is the perfect place to stay if you want a comfortable casita right on the beach. Sara, the owner and manager, knows everything about the community including restaurants, bars, stores, tours, places to avoid, etc. It is just a short walk down the beach to town for everything you need, but far enough away to avoid any noise at...

Loved this quaint little place with eclectic art made from driftwood and shells. We only stayed two nights and we wished we would have stayed longer. The place was clean and comfortable. The first night we sat on driftwood benches on the beach and watched the sunset with our friendly host, Sara and a couple of other guests. Loved the...

Spent a week in the Tina Turner cabin with the kitchen. Highly recommend it -- great option to not have to eat every meal in town. Location is perfect -- 5-10 minute walk to town, but isolated enough to feel like a mini-retreat. Owner is extremely helpful, offered extra help with arranging excursions and helping us plan our time there,...

Casitas LazDivaz were all that we had hoped for on our Costa Rican adventure and more! My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights at LazDivaz, at Christmas time. Our stay was made extra special by the owner and host, Sara. She took such good care of her guests, being attentive to their different needs and styles. From the minute you...

My boyfriend and I spent Christmas 2015 at Casita LazDivaz and after a 15 day trip, 8 locations this was our most favorite spot for many reasons. First, the owner, Sara, is a sweet, funny, happy sarcastic human being and running her casitas (3) comes so natural to her! Her casitas are all beautifully built with high ceilings, very clean,...

My husband and I just returned from Costa Rica and our magical little casita. We stayed in Tina Turner (the casita with the little kitchen) and it was perfect. Everything was very, very clean and fresh smelling. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft. The little kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meal and smoothies...

This is a wonderful gem of a place tucked away down the beach from the center of Samara. The owner, Sara, has 3 casitas, each beautifully decorated with their own porches. Sara pays attention to detail and it shows. There is a beautiful palapa for guests to sit and relax in the nicely landscaped front yard. There is a wonderful...

Sparkling clean and just steps from the beach, what could be better? I know: the most fun hotel owner around. She knows the best tour guides, the best restaurants, and the most fun things to do. She doesn't do commissions, so you'll get truly honest travel tips from her and not waste your money on tourist traps. Plus, she's a...

We have been traveling through Costa Rica for 3 weeks and this was one of the best places we stayed at! There are three reasons why it's a first class experience: 1. The owner Sara makes you feel so welcomed. We had great talks at the beach, always felt well taken care of and just felt like staying with a...

Three stand-alone cottages in an intimate beachfront compound, for adults only. Each bright, breezy casita, shaded by many trees, has a queen-size bed, hot shower, ceiling fan, refrigerator, free WiFi, and safe; one, "Tina Turner," has full kitchen.
