We visited here while on a tour as sadly were very disappointed. We paid for an ocean view upgrade but room was set far back, everyone else of lower costing units had patio loungers and hammocks and we had none. When requested we had to wait an entire day aka next day to receive two chairs (not loungers) and took...

Room was riddled with bugs and smelled heavily of pesticides so obviously things aren't working. Staff is rude whether you speak English or Spanish. Food is horrendous and overpriced, go elsewhere! If you go after reading this review you'll regret it.

Nice rooms but if you are not part of the all-inclusive rate you can't get any food here. You can walk into town and it'll take 20 minutes or take a cab. The pool is nice and they have one swim up bar. The lunch buffet was not appealing and overpriced. It is a beachfront property but nothing special here....

Well, this was the low point of our Costa Rica trip. Guess we should have known since during check in the man behind the reception kept saying "NO" even before we finished making a request. Anyways, our room smelled like a septic tank and on letting the man ( same guy who checked us in) know about this, he said...

After reading the reviews I thought OMG now I'm horrified to go to this place. Yes when you do arrive it kind of looks like a compound from the back, however once in the grounds are beautiful. We were booked through Air Canada and had a villa at the back of the resort. After a few tries with the room...

I am having trouble writing this review as I have mixed feelings. I guess the best way to describe is don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed. Our flight was over 4 hours late leaving Toronto and when I booked it said 1 hour from the airport. It will take between two and two and 1/2. When we...

I'm hesitant to review this spot as we were there last year and other than the usual things you'll find in Central America we had I great time. This year was NOT the case. Because of the location, which other than travel time from Liberia, is excellent with a great beach and very friendly water, we decided to go back...

I was in Costa Rica for a surf trip along the Guanacaste coast. We were at this hotel for a fews days since we were surfing in Camaronal, one of my favorite surfing beach in Costa Rica. I came at this hotel before and they made several improvements and they are building new units. They also have a new restaurant...

I have been to Costa Rica several times and this was my second time at this hotel. I found everything that I loved the first time. Beautiful and calm beach, warm ocean, kayak, paddle board, snorkling etc. They have a new a la carte restaurant which is more fancy and good than the buffet. The meat was particularly good. The...
