We stayed there with my girlfriend for 11 days in the end of July 2010. From the very beginning, Steve (the owner) was very helpful and friendly, and offered us a good discount for a small one bedroom apartment. We had a fully equipped kitchen (which only lacked one or two basic things that we could easily buy at one...

When we arrived at Cabinas Coco Azul, we were given a friendly and warm welcome by owner and manager Steve. He was very nice and helpful, and gave us a lot of good advice and tips, ex. where to eat really good food etc. The rooms were good size, clean and comfortable. Every room has a small patio outside, and...

Ray is probably one of the best hotel managers I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I've stayed in many places from dingy backpacker dorms to 5 star resorts, and Ray exemplifies what a hotel manager should be, no matter the price of the resort. I forgot my alarm clock at home, and wasn't able to get cell...

Cabinas coco azul is kind of hard to find, our driver called Ray who came out and meet us in the driveway with a warm smile. So keep trying if you arrive late at night like we did. The place is warm and cozy ,with cute spanish style archways and doors. The two rooms we stayed in both were cute, clean and...

For the price of $45 I wouldn´t recomand it. It was dirty and wore down. The ac was ducttaped on a window and very loud. No cleaning of the room during our three nights stay. The staf was nice though but they should considering lowering the rates.

I have stayed 4 nights at the Cabinas Coco Azul in Playa del Coco and fell on the best man ever: Papa Ray! The cabinas are well located, a little out of downtown so very quiet (except for the monkeys... but they are part of the deal!), very clean and with an indispensable fan! Ray is gonna take good care...

To start, we read the reviews right here on Trip advisor and figured that with reviews consistently rating them high we might as well check it out. To our delight it even surpassed our expectations. Not only was our room spacious and clean, but Ray's local knowledge and amicable personality kept us in adventures and kept us busy. I would...
