We stayed at Ciudad Blanca for one night in January 2012. Room was pretty big, nice, and clean. Restaurant was pretty good. Staff helpfulness and friendliness was average to good. Price is pretty good for one or two nights.
I think this hotel is now called La Siesta. It's clean and perfectly functional. Rough Guide Cosa Rica describes it as having cold showers and they are! We came to Liberia, just to say we'd been here and to be honest; it's not worth it....More
