Beautiful hotel. The rooms are in small blocks up the hillside, and you can summon a golf cart at any time to do the uphill bit for you! Big, spacious room, full of character, with everything you might want. No room is overlooked, so you can sleep with the curtains open and wake with the dawn, and every room has...

We really enjoyed the accomodations, service and physical placement of the Lost Iguana Resort. You could see the volcano right from your patio and the patio was right in the middle of the thickness of the jungle. The people were very helpful and hospital. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Great place to stay and one of my favourites during our stay in Costa Rica. The rooms are very well equipped and well spaced out. Food was very good and everyone friendly and helpful. Loads of wildlife to see just around the rooms. The rain forest walk in the grounds are well worth the effort, lots of birds and other...

We got married here at the resort last Saturday. Isabel helped with setting up a gorgeous place with flowers and everything. She was incredible. The room, the service, the food was absolutely perfect. We are already planning our next visit.

We just returned home from a one night stay that exceeded all our expectations. While the resort is very nice two things stood out above all. The service was by far some of the best we have experienced and the food was way above average for the area. This is our third trip to CR and we have seen both...

We bought a Groupon for Lost Iguana for three nights and we loved every minute of it. The rooms are well maintained and clean although the air conditioner left a bit to be desired. The complimentary breakfast was solid but we did find the restaurant to be a little hit and miss. Some of the food was very good but...

We were in Costa Rica for my niece's wedding which took place at the JW Marriott. After the festivities, we headed to Arenal & The Lost Iguana. I REALLY wish we could have spent our whole time at this lovely place. The setting was magical, the staff was beyond helpful and a massage at the spa should be on everyone's...

My husband and I just returned from a four night stay at the Lost Iguana Resort and Spa and I am still smiling from the amazing experience! I had two massages at their spa- wow- pampering plus- didn't expect to see a glowing fire in the fireplace of my private bungalow while I had the most fantastic massage ever! The...

This was our first trip to the rainforest/ Arenal area and wow, just the best ever!! Everyone was so nice and helpful. And the lush setting is amazing- flowers and birds are everywhere and our room had a perfect view of the volcano. We even had a hot tub on our private balcony, a rock garden shower and a beautiful...

Having read very good reviews of this hotel, we were looking forward to an enjoyable 3 night stay and are pleased to say that our expectations were more than met. The rooms and view from our balcony were unsurpassable as the gardens were beautiful and we had pleasure watching humming birds visiting various flowers outside our room. Staff were always...
