This place is great for a few peaceful days away from it all. There are so many hikes just walking out of town into the beautiful Valley and all the info you need to do them you can gain at Linda's. This is a clean place with a pretty communal area and also the cheapest digs we got anywhere on...

Verry basis en small kitchen. The dorm room needs ventilation. Bed sheets where clean but verry old. The singel rooms are good as long if you don't take te rooms upstairs. There is where the smelly dogs sleeps so your room is also going to smel like dog. They have a lot of tourist info. Owner was very friendly. Place...

Nice and cheap, I really loved the common area. I was the only guest at the time, so it felt quite lonely. The girl working there could barely give me any information, but the volunteer was really helpful. I guess that it can get really nice when there are more people around! I would go back

We booked this hostel on the basis of the website etc stating they organised lots of activities through the hostel but unfortunately there is rarely any staff there or the staff are not forthcoming, we also went to the Spanish school to try but had the same result. There is however some useful guides in the kitchen area. On our...

This was a stop off for us whilst travelling from the Pacific side to Caribbean. It was a nice enough hostel, good size room and plenty of bathrooms. Wifi was good. Kitchen was very small and lacking in a few utensils and basic crockery......no bowls!? Staff were quite hard to come by. When we arrived there was no one at...

Great place, cheap private rooms and a lot of bathrooms. Everything is clean and the common area is quite pleasant. Also, they have all the information you might need for things to do there (more than lonely planet). Also very quiet and friendly. The best place to stay in Orosi. !! Take note that you have to pay to use...

Good (but small) shared kitchen facilities. The private rooms are extremely good value for what they charge. Dorms looked really nice. Service was perfect and good WI-FI connection. All the tours that can be done in the region are listed on a board.

Great value good for budget travelers. We were there during low season, so there were not many others staying here. We stayed in a private room at the hostel. A bit noisy with dogs outside barking. But otherwise comfy. The two cats and dog at the premise are cuddly. No wifi is a minus. Nice host who works closely with...

We stayed in the guest house for two nights and it was perfect. The small number of guests it can accommodate makes sharing of the kitchen and common areas easy - plus the nature of the place tends to attract like-minded guests. The balcony outside the rooms upstairs affords nice views. The rooms are comfortably large as are the bathrooms....
