It's a very good B&B and in a VERY good area. I felt safe at night walking around town and you have to buzz to be let in or out. The staff was cordial and willing to accommodate our group (for the right price). For Central America, it's definitely one of the nicer places to stay. They have two beautiful...

My friends and I were visiting Cartago to go to the Irazu Volcano and the Carlos Duran Sanitorio and needed a place stay. We are used to hostels and were looking forward to splurging a little. I've been in Costa Rica for a few months now and have been in all different types of hostels and some have been much...

The place IS hard to find ... look for the little flags. We booked and confirmed our stay here via the internet. Our stay was to include breakfast. When we arrived at the Casa Aura, we were told that because we had not confirmed, we could not have breakfast WHAT?. But, we HAD confirmed & had the email proof. We...

I stayed here for two nights last month and enjoyed my stay. I got crazy lost on my way there (none of the cabbies seemed to know where it was, eventually had to call the hotel for directions there), so make sure to look for the large Farmer's Market -- it's just a block north of that. I booked a...

The rooms were okay, the shower could have more warm water, the bed was okay. Everything was clean and the girls were welcoming though not the most service minded I've met on my trip. The breakfast was okay, not the best. I've stayed at cheaper, better B&B's than this.

We spent one night in Cartago on our vacation and were pleased with the accommodations. The room and bathroom were fairly large and the room was off the street and quiet. Staff were very friendly and hotel was within walking distance of several attractions, many restaurants, and a large indoor farmer's market. Free wifi! Breakfast was included, but we left...

I arrived in cartago on a stopover to another town. Not feeling like traveling anymore I searched tripadvisor for a place to stay. This place is super convienent, clean, and safe. Cartago is a nice little town to stop for a night. There's a supermarket really close and cheap food near by. The place also has free Internet and wifi!

Very friendly and nice B&B located quite down-town on the road to Irazu. Friendly staff and nice rooms. Decoration with a personal touch. Garden and Terrace for guests use. Perfect for a visit of Volcano Irazu. Fogret about the street name ! Watch out for the ICE. If you ask somebody always mention the ICE which is across the street....
