For the reviews saying that there are sometimes bugs indoors, THIS IS COSTA RICA and you're in the rainforest. If you don't like bugs, don't go to this country at all! Had to say it. Moving on... this hotel was set on beautiful grounds that were impeccably maintained. We had our own private cabin with a perfect view of the...

So this is not the Ritz, but it is clean and the view of the volcano was amazing. They served a nice breakfast and the grounds were nice. We had a room with two queen size beds and a chair that turned into a twin sleeper which was perfect for our 12 year old daughter. It is a bit away...

This was a wonderful spot for a vacation. Our bungalow faced the volcano Arenal, with a sitting area on the porch, in the shade. We so enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. We were close to all outings, and most came to the hotel to pick us up. The lady at the front desk was an amazing help. Wendy spent a lot...

L'hotel campo verde is organized in private rooms very big and well equiped. The view since room 3 was perfect (just facing Arenal Volcano). Confort was here too with big beds. Service was great, breakfast very tasty and owners letting you mix with the different formulas. No lunch or dinner there but there is a restaurant in front of the...

Located outside the city...city is $13 cab ride. Helpful staff; they sell tours/activities. A small bungalow has 2 queen beds, flat screen TV, high ceilings, lots of windows, triangular bath tub. A patio with furniture to dry clothes after the rain. (It rained everyday.) On a clear day, there is a nice view of the volcano. Simple breakfast...3 options to...

The room was ok. We were a bit disappointed because our booking was for the deluxe room farthest from the road. There was a mix up with the dates and we were instead given a regular room closer to the road. There is some street noise and the rooms were too bright for me, because the windows don't all have...

Had coffee machine fridge big bathroom nice enough beds, ac worked fine. Breakfast included and it was the best we had at all 4 hotels. To sit and view the volcano is amazing. My only thing...

Large individual, tidy, clean, cabin-like units with an open covered (8x8ish) patio including a small table and two comfy chairs for magnificent viewing of Arenal Volcano and the meticulously groomed lush tropical landscaping, floral trees and songbirds. Our private unit number 4 had a PERFECT view of Arenal Volcano. Inside was plenty of extra room besides the 2 queen beds,...

We stayed here on a night visiting the volcano and La Fortuna. We stopped into the hotel first to drop off our bags and they held them for us with no problem. Wendy at the desk directed us to our tour we needed to get to with a map no problem. A few hours later we came back and the...

Nice individual cabins. We stayed in cabin #11 which looked new and was clean, comfortable and roomy. Directly across from the volcano but we never saw the reported spectacular view because the clouds never cleared while we were there in December, which was too bad since each cabin has a nice patio with outside chairs. Not within walking distance of...
