He visited La Fortuna on our honeymoon and stayed at Hotel Kokoro Arenal. We weren't looking for luxury, just someplace simple, clean, quiet, and friendly to stay and our trip agent found the perfect spot. We can't say enough about the staff. We especially appreciated their restaurant recommendations which helped us find some of the best food of our whole...

This place is great! Service and staff were all very friendly. Great location if you are looking to visit the Arenal Hot Springs. Definitely coming back next time I am looking to stay in Arenal! They had great lunch and their view of the volcano from the pool was spectacular

This place has an exceptional potential far from being reached. It is ideally located, and has a great swimming-pool. But as soon as we deal with the services offered, it's different. Don't go to the restaurant: the food is really bad --> chicken was cold, fish was kind of frozen,.... Concerning the rooms, we stayed three days in this place...

We brought a friend from out of town to stay here and it was very average compared with other places we've stayed in Arenal. The staff insisted on charging us an extra $20+ taxes for a third person even though the little cabin was equipped with an extra bed. The woman at the front desk then proceeded to overcharge us...

Hotel Kokoro was beautiful and very accommodating. The staff were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. The wood cabins were rustic and beautiful but the hot water in our room was a bit touch and go. Beds were comfortable and rooms and linens were clean. The views of the volcano were excellent and the grounds are very pretty and well kept....
