The host (Felix), his son (speaks English) and staff were very accommodating to all our requests. The property is well kept, clean, in a beautiful location and close to town (by car...a bit of a walk), but not too close. There's very little exterior lighting, so a flashlight would help. (The staff was happy to assist when we needed it.)...

We stayed here one night on the way to La Fortuna. We were amazed by the view of the volcano, green surroundings, quiet atmosphere, tropical birds around, the sound of the river behind the cabins.. the cabins are located at some distance from one another and it gave a feeling of privacy. Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, juice,...

I stayed 4 nights in a the 2nd cabin from the road. 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each room. Small kitchen area that we did not use. We had breakfast at the caretakers house across the driveway every morning for only $ 5 per person. Nice balcony with a hammock over looking a ravine with a river in the...

Great place! Close to La Fortuna waterfall. Our cabin was clean and surrounded by luxurious vegetation. A short path lead you to a charming river. Definitely a good choice for travellers! I recommend this hotel.

I stayed two night in a wonderful cabin with my private balcony. A hammock was provided and you can listen to the sound of the river. The family who runs the place is very helpful and really cares for your needs. I can definitely recommend this place. Very good value for your money. Big thank you for your hospitality.

My husband and I enjoyed our visit here. The cabins are a few minutes out of town. The owner Felix is friendly and helpful and always willing to call a cab for you. Every morning he puts fruit out for birds so you can enjoy seeing a variety of wild birds while eating breakfast (it was a $5 charge for...

Upon arriving, I was a little hesitant - this place is a little more remote than I originally thought. I checked in with Felix easily (although he spoke very little English), and he showed me to my cabin. It was clean and more than spacious enough for one or even two. Unfortunately, since it's located in the middle of the...

My friend and I absolutely loved staying in this spot! The owners were very friendly and helpful and were able to answer any questions we had and make local phone calls for us when needed. They also served a homemade traditional breakfast each morning that was delicious and inexpensive. The cabins are clean and well kept, there is a ton...

Felix and his wife were very helpful hosts and we even got an upgraded room. You can hear the river from the cabins. We loved relaxing and reading in the hammock. I would recommend to anyone. Great place for La Fortuna
