This place is wonderful, we rented a suite, it had a view at the volcano. The staff was super nice, the gardens are colorful and there are hundreds of birds!!! They also have a path across the forest. Great experience!

Hi! My friends and I rented a car at the airport that had a 4x4 drive. We went from San Jose to Manuel Antonio, then up to Monteverde, then to Arenal, then back to San Jose airport. We took Rt 702 to Rt 1 to reach the airport again. It took us 3 hours, and we left around 9 am or so to get to the airport, which our flight out was at 1:30 PM. There's a lot of windy roads on Rt 702. Hope this helped. Enjoy your stay at the Brisas! The owner Carlos wakes up early to make breakfast. If you want to catch the Volcano Arenal uncovered, try early morning hours!
