Shared area was just so lovely and well presented, I could have hung out there more often. We used he shared kitchen for breakfast which was great, lovely place to sit. Room was simple, but actually the family room had one of the most comfortable beds for the whole holiday. We did the hot springs the tico way which was...

I really enjoyed this place. It had a fun vibe, with a cool bar. I thought the staff was fun and helpful. Our room was right by the bar, and I was worried because I read reviews about loud music. It was not a problem. The music cut off at 10 or so, and the place settled down. The vibe...

We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. This was our first destination in Costa Rica and the staff was extremely helpful in helping us book tours and travel, and recommending things for us to do. The grounds are awesome and we took advantage of the hammocks and pool after long days of hiking. The rooms aren't super spectacular but...

I stayed at this hostel after being recommended by a friend. I got there late in the evening and hadn't booked but I managed to get a private room. This room was not in the main area but across the road, it was nice and clean. The location of this hostel is great very close to the bus station and...

As we were travelling with family and two babies I was slightly dubious about staying in a hostel but this place is pretty decent. The grounds are super fun with hammocks and a bar with a pool. It has a good atmosphere and parking too. The staff are also friendly but not overly helpful. I suppose it is just a...

Super nice staff, very clean rooms and attractive surroundings with pools and hammocks. BUT this place is far from its full potential. I do not recommend the dorms (too many beds, not enough space for bags and nowhere to hang wet towels... not worth the price) + My knife was stolen from the communal kitchen and the same day someone...

Hostel has 2 buildings, depends what category you book. Whats on the picture are the standard rooms where the pool, reception and bar are. We booked the highest category. Located in other building across the road. 3rd floor, no elevator. No assistance with bags. - Balcony overlooking other building and windows. Very noisy as it is at crossroad. At 6am...

Came on a whim and late at night during holy week. Drove around and discovered a lot of hotels were booked up. We were told by a beautiful neighbouring resort that this hostel had one room left and the rooms were decent. Private with own bathroom was only 83 US and this was a peak time so we weren't going...
