The breakfest is poor, eggs, toasts and cofee ONLY. I reserved the hotel for 2 days and I extremely regret for have chosen this place. There was no TV, neither Wi-fi in the place, I asked if I could change rooms the next day for a room with Wi-fi and TV, the employees simply denied and said that it occurs...

The best part about this was the customer service. They helped us book 2 awesome tours and helped us find transportation as well. The rooms are cheap and the shower wasn't very clean, but I still greatly enjoyed the experience there. The free included breakfast was delicious.

One of our first hostel experiences, and definitely set the bar for hostels in Costa Rica. Keeping in mind that Costa Rica is generally pricier than other countries (in the perspective of backpackers!), my partner and I had a really enjoyable experience at La Choza. The beds were clean, there were lots of outlets in our dormitories (consisting of 6...

We stayed in a double bedroom with bathroom, which was really good value. A lot of space, vomfy bed, AC, bathroom with hot shower. Distance from restaurants and shops is short, but the hostel itself is very quiet. We found the staff to be inattentive at times. When we arrived, there was a mistake with our booking, as we had...

Don't come with high expectations. The place wasn't crawling with bugs but there were a few hairs in the bed we're pretty sure didn't come from my GF or myself. There was no AC in our room, but a strong fan. There were no screens on the windows so we didn't want them open all night. The Tico breakfast I'm...

Well, it's a hostel so one cannot expect much. The first night we could not get clean towels but we got them the second night. The front desk attitude was rather up and down and unpredictable. I felt as if they were no more helpful that they had to be; no one giving the extra effort to be nice or...

The hostel was comfortable and the staff were pretty friendly. It is set back from the main street and so is nice and quiet. Breakfast was ok but not fantastic and we supplemented with fruit. The kitchen is quite well equipped but a bit too small. We enjoyed our trip to the hot springs, which was free as advertised. However, staff...

La Choza Inn delivered as promised. We had a triple room with a double bed and a single and it was tight but comfortable. Everything was as you would expect for a lower price. A little run down and simple, but not bad. We had a lot of issues getting a third towel even though we had booked and paid...

We stayed in the dormitory, but it was very clean, quiet, and easy to access after hours. The guy at the front desk was very helpful, suggesting how to get around and where to go, and he was really friendly and enthusiastic. They even provide free transportation to a local free hot spring, which was awesome. Great basecamp for exploring...
