The Rabferhotel is nice enough with a pool and the staff very helpful. We were helped to switch rooms due to real heavy smell of mould. Now this second room has the same smell so there's a chance all rooms in the hotel are infested by mould. Seems like a possible problem in a tropic country like Costa Rica. We...

If/when I return to the area I will certainly be staying here again. Within reasonable walking distance to the center of town but far enough away that the hotel was quiet (until my friends and I got there). The rooms were clean, and very cool in temperature. Our maid made the towels into an elephant which is something kids will...

Nothing extraordinary, but nice and clean. Conveniently located, just a couple of blocks from the main square. Other than an annoying dog barking on and off in the neighborhood, it was quiet. Nice big breakfast. Friendly service.

The grounds and rooms are nice & clean. The breakfast is yummy and plentiful. The pool is beautiful. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Our 1st room had an issue with the air conditioner and they immediately moved us to another room . Great customer service!

Hotel is close to the town centre in a quiet area. Beds are decent, rooms are clean.courtyard and pool very agreable. I guess we had quiet neighbours because we slept well. We had a nicer room on the main street at first but it was much noisier.

I arrived on a very busy weekend with a last-minute reservation for the final room available. The walls were thin & I could hear the people next door. I wasn't very happy with the odour in the room and the next morning I was moved to a larger room with a balcony for no additional charge. The breakfast was more...

The hotel is just off the main square in the town centre. It has an uninspiring frontage but is architecturally pleasantly designed. It has a swimming pool within the main rooms courtyard, but 48 hours of hard rain scarcely made the pool an extra option. The hotel in literature is described as ' comfortable'. The rooms are clean with a...

we stayed here because we had no other option. we moved to san bosco inn which is 1000 times better. this hotel has super thin walls (our neighbor spent all night watching tv) and is great over priced in comparison to other places you can stay. the free breakfast was literally 1 scrambled egg. it was laughable. dont stay here.

The locations of the hotel is perfect not a lot of noise but a 2 min walk to the center, probably also the reason why you can't by a beer or bottle of water?? The worst part is the breakfast I wouldn't even serve that to my dog that's an embarrassment. I saw someone mentioned the staff that they where...

decent, clean, average rooms, hot water, localised wifi. "Bar" wasn't open and its lighting, with eco LED bulbs, was so dim as to make reading impossible. The pool was ok but the iguanas used to swim in it too which made me a bit queasy. Staff keen to help but English not great. We went out for a meal and...
