Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was not our first time to finca vibran, and it won't be our last. First, it doesn't get more beautiful than here. It's amazing. Then, the hospitality is unmatched. Adrian was an immediate friend.(ask about bbq) Our flight was delayed by several hours and he waited until 2am to greet us. And he was happy! Or acted the part. He cooks an amazing breakfast, too. I was sad to not see Liliana and Luis (the owners) but they have left the property in great hands, once again. (Karina was also amazing)! There are short trails to hike and thousands of hummingbirds and butterflies. The views are amazing. The caretakers of the property, Jorge and Wendy are lovely. Jorge gave us many different fruits from the property and was so great with our 5 year old son. If you are wanting to not be in the middle of crazy tourism, and want something more authentic with a big dash of comfort, this is your spot.

The room is very comfortable but the wi-fi doesn't work at all most of the time and is very very slow when it is working. Karina is very nice. BUT I woke up in the morning to find the shower floor and nearby floor area had a huge number of large ants. I managed to kill 45 ants but chose not to take a shower that morning with all the dead ants there.

We stayed at Finca Vibran while on a client Field Trip in Costa Rica. Our group of four were travelling around Costa Rica visiting coffee farms. Finca Vibran was a convenient place to stay while touring the coffee areas. Rooms were ok, water tepid / cold. Scenery was nice, Wifi did not work. People won't be staying at Finca Vibran on business but we were, so that matters as much as we wish that it did not. Breakfast very nice the next morning - could not really say the place was anything but convenient for us. Could not pay by credit card on check out which was awkward and begs the question what you would do paying for 4 rooms if I did not have the cash. Finca Vibran was nice, but everyone else staying here writing the TripAdvisor reports would have a different perspective

We stayed over the weekend with my family and we all had a lot of fun. You feel like in a remote mountain away from the city, but you are just an hour away from San Jose. The house is beautiful and our hostess was very helpful. Kids enjoyed exploring around and we loved the beautiful view.

We spent two nights at this b&b and loved it. It is located in the hills, in a residential area. It is approximately 45-60 minutes from the San Jose airport, and about an hour from the Poas volcano, which is a lovely drive from the Finca Vibran. There are many good "sodas" (local restaurants) close by (10 mins by car). The rooms are very clean, and very nicely decorated. The shower has hot water. There is no AC, but you do not need it, as this area gets quiet cool in the evenings (10 degrees Celsius in February - summer). Lastly, the property manager (Karina) is lovely... she made us a delicious breakfast each morning and gave us good information on nearby places to visit. Would we stay here again? Absolutely and without a doubt!

The setting is gorgeous, up in the mountains, about 9km from Grecia on good roads, the view is spectacular, the air as pure as it gets, lots of space around with beautiful flowers and trees; our Cabin, Poas, was oversized, with a king size extremely comfortable bed, the decor exquisite, all very high quality. So many beautiful details that make it inviting and special. Karina, the manager is exceptional, efficient, professional, helpful and very available. Breakfast was delicious. There are 4 cabins on the property. We spent 2 nights and had the place to ourselves!! Lots to do around here-for us, it was a fantastic culmination to a wonderful month visiting the country, moving around. This was our "going away" retreat!! Loved it!!! An exquisite place, will remember it forever!

This B&B sits up on a ridge north of Grecia, with amazing views and lush gardens. Our hostess was very very helpful during our 2 nights stay. She picked up items at the grocery store for us, ordered pizza delivered to us and arranged a taxi for us. The rooms were clean, our breakfast was delicious and only 45 minutes from the airport. We really enjoyed our stay here.

What a superb find this is. The staff are loving and wonderful. The rooms are a work of art. Walking the grounds is a tour of years of loving care and plant species galore. Birding is great. and the views are simply super. The valley at night is sparkling and alluring from this beautiful perch. You'll not want to leave. Don't.

A warm welcome awaited us when we arrived at Finca Vibran B&B, just outside of Grecia in the Central Valley. Although the owners were not present, Karina, the manager greeted us with 2 ice cold cervazas after a challenging drive. She was able to recommend numerous restaurants and sights to visit in the area. Our SIM card for our phone required a re-charge and as our Spanish was very limited she offered to do this for us at the corner grocery store. A godsend, to say the least! Our room was beautiful with high quality linens and towels. A beautiful breeze off the hills greeted us every evening and made for a great nights sleep. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful. Thank you Karina for making us feel so welcome and introducing us to this beautiful area of Costa Rica.
