Beautiful well kept rooms and hotel grounds. Unlike most other places we've stayed during our 4+ months of travel, this room was cleaned daily! The internet worked great, the hot water worked great, the water pressure was great and the kitchenette was sufficient to cook a simple meal if necessary. The view from the pool is beautiful and is even...

Owner was very nice. Nice pool. Nice gardens, the grounds are impeccable. Good breakfast. Good overall value. Altitude is high enough that it is cool in the evenings so you can sleep well. Next time I need to stay over night in the area I will defiantly stay here again.

Located at the top of a small mountain, the hotel has tremendous views of the surrounding valley and Poas Volcano. It's a small hotel with 7 individual cabins which have cooking facilities, a large bathroom and firm beds. The pool overlooks the valley and is very relaxing. The hospitality of host Javier is warm and helpful. There is a complimentary breakfast...

Or have just arrived in Costa Rica and want a few relaxed days to start/end your trip. We were picked up in the evening when our international flight arrived and it took about 40mins to get to the...

Hotel Mango Valley is awesome. Quaint and small, nothing extravagant but extremely hospitable. Javier was fantastic. We got to the hotel much later than anticipated on a Monday night and he ordered us food from a local restaurant when we arrived. The room was clean and simple. The view in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was great. We really didn't...

This was the nicest, cleanest, and most friendly place I have ever stayed while traveling. My friend from Australia and I were greeted and welcomed as though we were old friends of Maite and Jose. The views are excellent, the site is immaculate, close to town if you have a car, close to a bus stop if you don't. It is...

We loved Hotel Mango Valley because of its simplicity, beautiful views, and Javier & Carmen (the owners) are very friendly and caring. We had one of the cabinas that had a small patio overlooking the valley and the hotel pool. Wonderful! We had excellent WiFi while there and good TV. The cabina was immaculately clean and we had all we...

Beds very firm. Nice restaurant a steep walk away. Enjoyed free bottle of wine with online booking! Near volcano for early entry before clouds move in. Lovely breakfast included but can be slow for early departure. Listen for coyotes and watch for Toucans!

Stayed here one night after flying in to San Jose. It was a tranquil setting and our cottage was charming with a nice valley view. it is a little tricky to find, but follow there directions, not the GPS. Only disappointment was with the breakfast, not particularly tasty, but at their prices, reasonable.
