Stayed here while we waited for or flight. It was only one night so I won't be too harsh. Our room was right on the first floor in front of reception.. kinda weird. Would not stay here again. Tv was tiny! And you can hear everything outside. Bed sheets where soft tho. I did stay at better hostels than this...

AC not functioning, no fans, staff does not care, room dirty, bathroom dirty, the worst room we had in Costa Rica. The young man in charge did not seem to care at all. We had booked on Expedia, will not use this again.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The room was only moderately clean, so we were unimpressed from the time we walked through our door. We went out for dinner and returned that evening to find that we had to walk up the three flights of stairs in complete darkness--no lights were on. The worst part of...

Easy to reach from the airport, around 7 dollars in a taxi, and good for onward journey down to Manuel Antonio, friendly staff, very helpful and comfortable, clean rooms, at the price good value. Great Mexican restaurant just up the road also a bonus!

It was a small room, but totally clean and very close to the airport, and the guy at the front desk was very helpful. There was also free Wi-Fi and breakfast included, so it fit our needs to crash for the night.

No parking lot, no hot water, many lights weren't working in the room, the sheets were stained, AC unit barely worked and made all kinds of noises - just to name a few. Staff was pleasant and helpful and the room was cheap ($40usd)

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. it is half a block from the Central Park - the dead center of town. It has all the local charm you could want, but most important, was the manager - Chema (pronounced 'shay-mah'), not sure of the spelling, but what's in a name. Anyway, he worked from early mornings to...

We needed a place to simply store our bags before leaving for a red eye flight yesterday evening and booked this place due to the location to the SJO airport. Let me just say that upon arrival -our view was barbed wire fences, graffiti, and an area that made me grip my purse just a little bit tighter. We walked...

Straight to the point no frills. We drove from airport to the hotel. Some one is at the front desk 24 hrs a day. Make sure your car is empty and bark right on the stre wet across from the entrance not only can they see it but it's a police station right down the street. Check in is quick....

We spent a week in Alajuela and stayed in this simple home. Our priorities are to have a comfortable bed and a decent bathroom, as we don't like to spend a lot of time in a hotel room while on vacation. This place has both. The staff were all extremely helpful with suggesting restaurants and things to do. They were...
