I stayed here on April 22, 2016, with a few family members who are Costa Rican. The property was well maintained and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. The reason for the poor review is based on my problems with the staffing and management, as well as the fact that me and my brother, and his 1 year old...

We booked for one night as we live in Bagaces. We booked 2 bungalows, however they tried to put us up in the standard rooms. We did get our booked rooms after contesting it. We then had Lunch which was way overpriced and honestly not very good for Costa Rican food. My brother and I both ate the Carne and...

The place is nice, quite clean but we were disapointed by the staff, who didn't do any effort to speak english (we tried but we have a poor spanish) and to help us in our trip. The rooms were nice, you can hear the animals all the night as of you slept wrigt into the nature

We arrived at Catarata Rio Celeste hotel after landing at Liberia airport. We had a rental car with a GPS which was very helpful. Once you are about 7 miles from the hotel, you travel on a hilly gravel road. While the road adds to the adventure, it is adds a certain remoteness that those traveling without a car may...

The biggest surprise about this hotel is the garden full of flowers and different kinds of special birds, blue birds, hummingbirds, ... We had a basic room, but still it was nice, with hammocks on the terrace (5 rooms next to each other), mosquito net provided, towels turned into flowers on the bed. And the bed linnen was the softest...

Set in a nice setting within the forest, this is a very relaxed place and a good base for walks within the Tenorio National Park. The rooms are all equipped with ventilators and mosquito nets and all have a terrace with a hammac, nice for a small siesta after a walk in the park. They have an onsite restaurant serving...

We stayed three nights end of January and loved it!!! Marcos and all the staff are very friendly. The cabins were wonderful (pick them over the room)....very clean (no bugs), quiet and private. I was surprised at just how much this is in the remote forest, which is what we were looking for. Within a day we saw coati's, aracaris,...

This location isn't for the faint. The road is narrow and rocky. There is no pavement. There are 5 Rio Celeste hotels on this rocky road, of course I would stop at the last one before I found the right one. The blue waterfall is so worth the trip though. Unless it has been raining then watch out. The beds...

This is only a review of the restaurant since we could not stay here, due to no vacancy. Good food in a nice and relaxed restaurant. We ate here several times since our "luxury hotel" nearby did not have a decent restaurant. The staff is always smiling and very friendly!

So glad we chose this Hotel! Was very clean and very close to Tenorio National Park entrance. Don't let the inexpensive price trick you into thinking this place isn't good. It was very clean and the food was fantastic. Being Filipino I saw Bistek, and prayed it was like our beef steak and it was! So delicious! Breakfast was not...
