Very good location. Five minutes walk (or less) to Jing An station on underground train line #2. From there, I took connecting train to Shanghai Train Station, Hong Qiao Train Station and also Hong Qiao Airport. Around the Jing An area there are many local and western eateries. I haven't found a grocery supermarket but I bumped into overseas travelers... More

LOCATION of the hotel is perfect -placed in the modern, shopping area around Shanghai city centre, a very livable and cheering area with nice shops and facilities. Just around the corner there's Jingdan metro station with the main metro line (green one, n.2) bringing you directly to the city centre in 3 stops; there's also a bank at the ground-floor... More

Staying in Jing'an

Neighbourhood Profile
Jing'an
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
