THis is my 2nd stay at this hotel. This trip I just stayed 2 nights at the hotel room 5712 and although they told me they have evening turn down service it wasn't done. Also I requested for additional towels and again it wasn't done. Turn on on the tap to put water in the bath tub and the water that...

Was given a very nice, although quite small, room on the 55th floor. Busy conference days so having breakfast in the 58th floor Executive lounge with internet access to catch up on some emails was great. Happy hour with food and drinks was more than expected. Great view from up there. Conference rooms were well equipped and coffee served was...

My stay at the Renaissance Zhongshan Park was one of the better experiences I've had in Shanghai... The hotel is clean, modern and the staff are very service focussed.. After arriving very late at night, I found that I had lost my suitcase keys and wasn't able to access any of my clothes. One call to the front desk had...

The Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel is well appointed with friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms. You will not find a reason to hate this hotel. You may find some things you wish they would pay more attention to such as wiping surfaces down. You may find many surfaces in your room with drink rings that will remain until you...

The staff will proudly tell you that this is the tallest Renaissance Hotel in the world -- and as I sit here writing this review in the 58th floor club lounge, I can't omit a mention of the amazing views. Even on a murky winter morning the vista is awe-inspiring: over there the Shanghai Financial Center, and to the other...

It was my first trip to Shanghai and China. I was traveling to attend a week long training in Shanghai. The hotel is a high rise building next to Zhongshan Park in Shanghai. First of all, Shanghai in itself was an experience for me. The stay at this hotel only helped to make the experience better! I was on 47th...

The Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel is perfectly located in terms of public transport options, shopping, eating out and the like. It is located just across the street from the Shongshan Park Metro station that is served by lines 2, 3 and 4. However, one does not need to cross the busy road as the hotel sits on top of...

My sons and I joined my husband for a weekend getaway. My husband had a conference there and that was the reason we chose to stay there. The location is not central but there is a metro station at the hotel so you could get anywhere in a cinch. There was also a shopping mall attached to the hotel which...

The hotel is ok. The room is fine, with a nice view, usual amenities and room service is good. Shopping mall downstairs with pretty much everything, and transport to everywhere in town, close to Hongqiao (SHA) airport by taxi, or metro. Sharing the pool with the neighborhood is kind of crap. literally a chlorine bath! The fact that they have...

Staying in Zhongshan Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Zhongshan Park
The residential and commercial areas around the beautiful grounds of Zhongshan Park have never been considered particularly fashionable by a majority of Shanghai’s foreign residents, but plenty of expats do choose to live here. The park itself is a huge draw, providing a pocket of serenity in the middle of the metropolis. The area has its share of trendy shops with wares that can’t be found elsewhere, delicious restaurants with food ranging from fancy to affordable, and great hidden bars. Rents are also cheaper here than in other neighborhoods with the same conveniences. Aside from the obvious attractions, with its neighborhood fix-anything shops and pop-up street stalls that sell anything you need, you’ll never sacrifice Western comforts.
