We chose this hotel mainly because of its rooms. The two bedrooms apartment was spacious and the beds 're all very comfortable. Lots of nice restaurants around the hotel. Free wifi working great, checking in and out were quick and staff r all friendly. Highly recommend for family or group of friends traveling together and wanna share a nice living...

Well located in Shanghai I just love this apartment hotel. Great views of Shanghai along with a full kitchen makes for a really pleasant stay. I just returned from 2 weeks in Shanghai and this hotel really made for a pleasant stay. Very reasonable prices and a knowledgeable staff.

It is in a great location where you can find convenience stores and decent food. We tried to cook but realised they do not provide some essentials - cooking sticks, knives. We end up going out to eat. Quite a clean place, and good value for a short stay !

The location is not far away from Nanjing East pedestrian street.. about 10 minutes walk but I struggled to find the exact place. I booked a 2 room unit with added bed and staff there gave me a free upgrade to 3 room unit. The stay is overall satisfactory although the in room facility is a bit worn out.

Stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Plenty of room for three adults. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. Had crockery and chopsticks but no cutlery or cooking / food preparation utensils e.g knives for cutting fruit that is for sale all over the place. Interesting location amongst stalls and local stores. Walking distance to bund and Nanjing Rd

Overall..this was a very nice place. We had a 3 bedroom apartment for a few days and it was spacious and comfortable with really nice air conditioning. Staff were friendly and accommodating despite the language barrier. It is located in a nice area that is close to the subway and within walking distance of many attractions. The pool and spa...

First time staying in Shanghai with family. The city itself beautiful but the environment is very dusty. This service apartment is located at the central area and good location. Hotel hardware was ok. Not up to 4 stars. As a frequent traveler and visitor. I would only rate as average. Barred minimum. Many improvements needed. For instance: when I walk...

Generally, hotel is clean and spacious...however, their service is really bad. Their front desk and room service people are really impatient and wouldn't adapt to meet requirements of customers... They even charge taxi drivers 20rmb when they call taxi for customers, which turned taxi drivers a bad mood to customers

This was the third time I have stayed at New Harbour Apartments. Stayed on 22nd floor in 3 bedroom apartment, which was well equipped but for the kitchen.Bring your own utensils and coffee pot. Why do I return - rooms are comfortable, it is well located, close to Metro stops, Peoples Square, the Bund and Nanjing Rds. Great food choices...

Staying in People’s Square

Neighbourhood Profile
People’s Square
People’s Square brings with it all the excitement you would expect from the town square of one of the biggest cities in the world. The area around People’s Square and People’s Park is always a abuzz with activity. Oceans of local and foreign tourists flow in and out of the area every day to see grand museums, go shopping and eat at some of Shanghai’s most storied food centers. Shanghai residents, meanwhile, live and work in the many residential and office high-rises. While much of Shanghai stays busy late into the night, this really is an area that never sleeps with glitzy nightclubs keeping people up until the wee hours of the morning.
