Good location to Stay in Shanghai if you are prepared to travel for 30-40 minutes to reach down town. Excellent rooms with really good service. The champions bar in the hotel is good to pass the evening if you are there with your mates. Stay in executive lounge is really nice with free breakfast. Enjoyed the Tennis court. Hotel is...

The hotel itself is nice and perfectly comparable to most brand name hotels. Clean rooms, well trained staff, good breakfast. The location of your meetings/activities will make or break your visit at this hotel.

Shanghai can be not a very friendly city compared to all the other cities that one can visit in China. This hotel and most especially it's staff certainly maintained this status. Accommodations were fine but it is not really near anything. I would look elsewhere for a hotel. It did not live up to the Marriott standards.

Have stayed in this hotel several times when I visit Shanghai, main reason being that it is decent, has a god corporate rate and is located near to where I need to be. Other than that it is unremarkable, and in fact rather old from the looks of the lobby and the view of the facade from the room. On...

This place is very outdated. I'm sure a few yeas back it would have been ok but now not so. Yes it has a pool, steam room and various facilities but the whole place feels like it needs an upgrade. My room was very old and run down, the room service was good but prices very high and the breakfast...

Unfortunately my stay in China had to be extended, as my fellow traveller fell ill, but I thought that by booking into an international hotel all would be fine. Firstly the breakfast was not what I would have expected, being in an international hotel. I realised there would be local cuisine but still expected some international foods, ie continental breakfast...

Nice rooms, but a long taxi ride to tourist parts of town. Convenient to Hongqiao airport, but this is a small older airport with mostly domestic flights. Bar food pretty good, breakfast in cafe had a wide selection but some dishes were not carefully prepared, over or under cooked. Good place for business meetings, lots of large meeting rooms and...
