We lived the hotel for 2 days with our kid. The lobby is on 54th floor and our room on 59th floor. The high floor gives a good view of the city. Everything here is representative of Hyatt hotel, friendly front desk and housekeeping. Though the hotel is in operation for more than 10 years, it is still acceptable. The...

When the driver dropped me to the hotel, the bell boy took down my luggage and walked away. I took my luggage myself and checked in. The attitude of the check in staff was not very happy. Luckily it did not take long. The room is fine but obviously is a bit outdated and need some renovation. The service in...

The best part of the room was the air conditioner. It was very quiet, which is very important to me and my sleep. The layout of my bathroom was also great. However, the check-in check-out experience is bit awkward. Since there were columns between desks also the staff was not that attentive, other guests jumped queue easily.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! We stayed at a signature room with a breathtaking floor-to-ceiling panorama of Shanghai skyline. The room was equipped with truly luxury amenities, had a comfortable bed and a bathtub with a view over the Oriental Pearl tower. The breakfast provided ample selection of fresh foods, especially juices and fruit. The staff was very...

We enjoyed a cocktail and a snack in this fabulous hotel. It is located in the top storeys of the JinMao which is one of the most beautiful modern high rise buildings in the city. There are so many outstanding decorative features. An amazing design is the more than thirty storey high atrium around which are placed the corridors with...

I have never been disappointed with any Grand Hyatt at any locations worldwide. This was no different. Overall great service and outstanding facility. However, the rooms do start to show its age, but I do think the staff are doing an excellent job keeping it as "fresh" as possible. I woke up one day in the middle of the night,...

A nicely appointed property with a fantastic view of the city. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Getting to the elevators to the rooms could be testing for those who do not have a good sense of direction as the hotel is circular! The room was spacious and well appointed. Selection of food (both western and eastern) for breakfast was...

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
