Neighbourhood
Jing'an
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.

Attentive staff at both reception and housekeeping. Especially with our extra mischievous 2 year old girl around. They provided us with a 'Mothercare' crib for our little girl. Many thanks to housekeeping staff Vanessa for exceptional job. Concierge was helpful with directions

Very nice room, excellent personnel, very good executive lounge. Unfortunately, Internet is not very good. The prices in the restaurant and bar are too high. Hence, the hotel is very good situated and close to the Jingan temple.

shanghai Hilton is located in the center of shanghai, I'm not sure at how far it is from the port. I think the best bet is to call the Hilton and see if they provide transportation from the port?

The Bund is walkable but is a little far. Much easier to get to Nanjing Road. Din Tai Fung Restaurant in the Shanghai Centre, by the Portman Ritz Carlton Hotel, is one of my favorites.
