I visit China regularly and Hilton Shanghai no doubt is always my first selection. It is an old hotel in Shanghai and not as posh as some newly launched hotels nearby, but the quality of services and staff experience are the real value and miles better than others. Highly recommended! I am sure you will agree with me after your...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

This is my repeated visit to Hilton Shanghai over the years and my first visit in 2017. As usual after getting a car service to pick me up from the airport, I soon arrived at the hotel. The check in was a breeze at the executive lounge on the 38 level. I get free wifi , daily breakfast and a...

Back to Shanghai in spring which is one of the good season to visit, not too hot not too cold not crowded at all. My friend picked Hilton this time instead of Four Season just to give them a try. However, I'll say we do not have a good start . They gave me wrong price in the first beginning....

Good Hotel, Located in strategic area for business. Good service and excellent rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has a wonderful selection and the Restaurants and Bar is good as well.

A good hotel with all the amenities you would expect from a Hilton. Conveniently located near Metro Line 2, and even has a beautiful little park (Jing'An park) within a block and the beautiful Jing'An temple. Staff were friendly, and courteous. The hotel is a bit dated and the difference was obvious between this and newer or more newly renovated...

The room is cozy and clean. The location is good. The price is reasonable. Gym and swimming pool are good. It takes around 5 minutes walk to the JinAn temple metro station. I am so satisfied for all my needs.

I like the location of Hilton Jingan, central location, but the hotel is old and definitely need a refurbishment. Service was average, I had a bad room service experience, I ordered a 4 mins boiled egg but came with a fully cooked egg... the kitchen staff and the service line staff insisted the egg was only cooked for 4 mins......

Typical Hilton - which is exactly what I wanted. This is a large well appointed hotel. Room was spacious and well equipped with fabulous views from the panoramic windows. Good choice of restaurants. Executive lounge is large but comfortable with wonderful views. Spa is superb and reasonably priced. I stayed here for two days. On the first day I had...

We were really happy with the location of the Hilton Shanghai, it was super close to Jing'an Temple and other areas. Our taxi rides to most places were only about 10 minutes. The hotel and service were good although the hotel is a little older. We had a nice stay and would stay again.

Previously I had visited Shanghai twice and stayed at the bund area in 2016. For a change of taste, I researched and settled on coming to Hilton Shanghai in December. I am happy to report its the right choice. For one it is conveniently located nearby airport, train stations, and all sorts of interesting places including shops, restaurants, Jing-Ann Temple,...

Staying in Jing'an

Neighbourhood Profile
Jing'an
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
