    The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.

    "Stay on low floor is best, only 2 elevators that are super slow and house keeping use them too."
    "Higher floor executive suits shall be good for senior staff or family where kitchen facilities are available.."
    "do try and get a mid level floor like between 10 and 16 so that you don't have to wait too long for the elevator. Room facing the back of the hotel is better as its quieter and you might not hear the city bus coming pass the main road in front of the hotel"
