Would stay again. Great common area, with restaurant/bar and pool table. Private room very small - large luggage a squeeze. Bed comfortable, shower good! Reception staff friendly and helpful. Good location - short walk to metro.
Ended up staying here longer than planned. Great hostel, far enough away from Nanjing road to be out of central Shanghai but easy to hop on the subway and be there within 20 mins. Would recommend to everyone!
I come to Shanghai from a nearby suburb and have stayed at a few hostels in Shanghai. This is hands down the winner. Location is mostly easy to get to, not the best best but manageable. Good spot to meet people when they aren't on...More
Lovely hostel. Great downstairs area with comfy sofas, relaxing music, and lovely staff. Really helpful to have washing machines and a large drying area. Beds were comfy. The only thing that lets this place down is the food. Breakfast is fine. The coffee is excellent....More
Perfect hostel for a backpacker, cheap prices and a very nice place. Showers are clean and food is correct.
The location is good , not far from the subway.
The hostel have some nice commodities like a pool table and wifi.
The residential and commercial areas around the beautiful grounds of Zhongshan Park have never been considered particularly fashionable by a majority of Shanghai’s foreign residents, but plenty of expats do choose to live here. The park itself is a huge draw, providing a pocket of serenity in the middle of the metropolis. The area has its share of trendy shops with wares that can’t be found elsewhere, delicious
restaurants with food ranging from fancy to affordable, and great hidden bars. Rents are also cheaper here than in other neighborhoods with the same conveniences. Aside from the obvious attractions, with its neighborhood fix-anything shops and pop-up street stalls that sell anything you need, you’ll never sacrifice Western comforts.
