Spent two nights here as part of a 16 day China tour. Nice place... rooms were warm as air conditioning was not turned on. Staff was very courteous and friendly... would consider staying there again if we returned to Shanghai.

We were part of an organized tour group from Canada and all our hotels were 5 star properties. I'm not certain how close we were to downtown, but it seemed quite central when we were touring the city. Lovely beds & linens and very modern.

We travelled with a group of 50 and stayed at this property for 2 nights on May 12 and 13, 2015. Our room keys were ready when we arrived and the tour leader provided us with our keys and our luggage was taken by the hotel staff to our rooms. The rooms were very comfortable and the location of the... More

Nice hotel in a fairly good location. A bit of traffic a canal noise but not to bad. Very large rooms (we had corner room) with ample seating area, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Room has tea & coffee making facility but they do not have cups! Could not get them to provide us any despite calling. Breakfast was average... More

The hotel lobby was busy as a bee hive. However, checkin was quick and seamless. The keys to your room only go to your floor...can't push an elevator floor for other guests in elevator. The room was fabulous and luxurious. The bed was super comfy and the windows had remote controlled blinds and curtains. The view from our room faced... More

I switched over from the Wyndham Grand hotel across the river to this property during 2014, and stayed there on 2 or 3 occasions. Like it's sister property, there is not much nearby in terms of Western-friendly shopping or restaurants, but only a 15 minute cab ride from the Bund area and main attractions in the Lu Jia Zui district... High on 32nd floor. Room nice view, large, clean bathroom, executive floor. Surprised given room since we were on a budget tour. Upon closer look, furniture and carpet were worn, blotter on desk had big iron burn mark, and the lovely chaise lounge had mystery stains all over the velvet covering. I think rather than leave the room empty before... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of the Sinorama Imperial China tour. It was the nicest hotel of our trip. There is a huge lobby with interesting gift shops. Security seems good and elevators require a room key. The rooms are spacious, and include a large bed and desk area. There is an in-room safe and large closet and... More

Great breakfast - shame about some rude staff though. COMFY BEDS - 1st soft mattress I've had in China, this place is geared up for westerners and business people. Strangely set in amongst a run down area but safe and an excellent place to explore from. really liked it here. The rooms were enormous! An entranceway a hall way a... More
