Decoration of carpentures and paintings are grand chinese style with good space for sleeping, reading and bathing. Staff are difficult to communicate, even not all the redeption ones are not able to communate in English. But they had willingness to help and find someone who can understand our quiries. Variety of traditional chinese breakfast are tasty, especially the noodle soup...

Our stay was very funny - on one side very nice hotel, very nice furnitured also the rooms are very comfortable. But our biggest problem was in communication - almost no one knew english (for ex. I wanted to take loundry - 20min on phone, asked about possibilities to have lunch, on reception said everything closed, but restaurant was open...

The Hotel is located in New Pudong Area. I had a chance to be there in April 2011. It is a beautiful hotel for a visitor to live. What a marble work,on floor with diffused lighting under the floor. It gives an enchanted look, one falls in trance of beauty crafted out of human hands. Especially the marble work is...

Huge rooms! staff were very nice but are not helpful when it comes to suggesting places to go in Shanghai. The breakfast was amazing. The location is convenient if you want a place between Pudong Airport and Shanghai city. If you are used to visiting Shanghai I would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros-room was large, nice, with a nice bathroom and an excellent bed (not hard). Cons-Things are closed and menu items are not available any...

We visited a trade fair in Pudong and this hotel is located near to it. We had really big rooms located in the 19th floor for 1000 RMB which is quite fair for Shanghai. The hotel is really really Chinese. Chinese kitsch everywhere. The hotel itself is kitsch too, actually. The western grill in the 20th floor and the German...

Nobody in the hotel spoke english or understood except for this really nice bell hop guy who was limited but extremly helpful. Amazing guy that will go very far in the...

I've been staying in this hotel for two months now and I felt compelled to sign up to Tripadvisor to post a review. Everywhere is serious marble. Everything is built to look luxurious but it's just downright pretentious. I think the hotel should focus less on how grand the place looks and pay more attention to the quality of the...

The hotel is ideal for the conference centre 300m away beyond this it is really not a good location or special place to stay. Whilst the hotel is a strange mix of baroque and art deco it fails to feel grand. During my stay it was almost empty and lacked any atmosphere. Check-in was easy with the front desk staff...
