Shanghai is a sophisticated city and The Middle House exemplifies the style and vibe this city oozes. The Middle House hasn’t got the feel of a traditional hotel, it really does feel like home. The staff make it this way because their care and attention shows they are proud of their establishment. The rooms are beautifully designed, stylish and quiet. The a la carte breakfast is up there with the best we have experienced anywhere in the world. Cafe’ Gray is a relaxing ‘lounge’ serving up an authentic list of cocktails. For a taste of Italy, then check out Frasca for tasty pasta dishes and excellent oven pizza. The Middle House will continue to be our choice when next visiting Shanghai. A class of its own!

I dont really know where to start this review, but lets start by saying that I moved into the The Middle house March 2019 and have felt at home ever since. JUST AMAZING! The service have been absolutely outstanding throughout my entire stay, no matter what service that is needed or required, they manage it all! I felt super safe and confortable by staying at the House, and a big part of this is the great Staff. Special thanks, for outstanding service, help and support, to Jacqline and Joy ( and Cindy ) !!! Beeing a forigner in China for the first time is not always the easiest, but by staying at the middle house the world class service and help was really making the life easier. I stayed in one of the 80 Recidenses, and it was a perfect fit for me and my needs. Beutiful interior with a tuch of modern China, with VERY high quality standard. Offcourse you are allowed to bring you own things to the apartment also. The location of the middle house is great, very convinient. All amenities at the house are great! The best of the best, thats the only thing i can say. You have to come see for yourselves. Its not mandatory to stay here two years as i did, even if it is for a weekend or even one night, the Middle House has to be experiences by everyone that love great architecture, relexation, people, culture and amazing food&Drinks!!!! Thank you all sooo much for this time! I promise that I will be back soner then later. Xie Xie, Bye Bye // Adam :)

I am writing to express my appreciation for the excellent service provided by The Middle Hotel's staffs.  I originally stay one week in The Middle Hotel. However, I have to leave Shanghai suddenly after 4 days of my stay due to urgent business matter. Mia and Emma helped me for check-out in a smooth way even I leaved early than my original plan. Kin also helped for courier my personal stuffs back to Hong Kong, and keep follow up with me.  I will definitely recommend The Middle Hotel to my family and friends, and hope to be back for vacation soon.  I have to especially thank you again for Mia, Emma and Kin for all their help. Hope to see your guys soon Shanghai.

i stayed at this hotel or say my house at shanghai for more than 20 stays over 60 days in total. i am very much impressed by slogan of the hotel "our house your home" at time of my first stay at the hotel. The service, the food and very details of the middle house proves that it deserves the reputation that it has. At time of check in, Arial and Joy at the reception help me a lot during several of my stays. They can read minds! They knew exactly the guest want and are always ready to do the most for the guest. The food at Cafe Gray and Frasca are fantastic. The breakfast at Cafe Gray is one of the best breakfast at Shanghai, i love each and every dish on the menu. The room is warm and make you feel like at home. One point i will emphasize is the staff will deliver the takeway food you ordered into for you. Perhaps the only one in Shanghai. I high recommend the middle house to anyone who visit shanghai puxi.
