If you stay here, it’s most probably, because, you are fluent in Chinese or your girlfriend/boyfriend/partner is Chinese. I needed a base for 1 month and a half into a budget hotel in Shanghai and my Chinese girlfriend found me that hotel. She was able to get me a cheap rate into a special room on the 4th floor for 100 rmb per day (around 18$). It's a basic room, bathroom, desk+TV, free wifi. Don't expect here, a gym or swimming pool. Breakfast is served in the lobby at the restaurant every mornings, but I didn't try. The staff were ok, since I'm a foreigner, nobody talk to me to check if everything was ok, where are in China, so....The maids were the only friendly persons there with a smile every mornings, they were cleaning almost everyday or when we were telling them. This hotel is near a walk of almost everything, many conveniences stores (24h), supermarkets, chinese restaurants, bars, shopping malls (Starbucks, H&M, Uniqlo,...), you are about 10/15 minutes walk from Shangcheng Road subway station (line 9) & Century Avenue subway station (Lines 2, 4, 6 and 9).
