Detailed Reviews
We stayed at Les Suites on the last day of our week long trip in Shanghai and we all regretted not booking this hotel for a longer period of time. We booked a studio room for ourselves (which was also good) and a suite with view of the river for my parents, of which they were very impressed and made note of the room number to request again when they return to Shanghai next time! :)
The location was excellent to view the nighlights, as well as a walking distance from the main shopping area and some great restaurants nearby. The rooms were both spacious and clean, and very comfortable. We will definitely be returning to this hotel when we next visit.

The room was very beautiful with a spectacular bath & shower next to large windows overlooking The Bund and the stunning skyscrapers just across the river Huangpu.
Comfortable bed and convenient switches for lighting, music and automatic window shades for those bathroom windows.
The complimentary breakfast was OK if not remarkable.
The concierges were attentive, polite and always ready to recommend a restaurant or hail you a cab. Every afternoon they had a complimentary Happy Hour in the Lobby pouring wine.
I particularly enjoyed the hospitality shown me by Mark Wang. (And avail yourself of the delicious candies they keep at their station!)
The hotel was very reasonably priced, and retains some of that old world Shanghai charm. Walk everywhere.
I would love to stay there if we are ever allowed to travel again.

I loved this hotel! Excellent location right on the Bund, very accommodating staff, and beautiful interiors! My room (703) had an incredible view, and both the room and bathroom were very spacious and well-appointed. I didn't want to leave! LOL. My only comment would be that I wish there was a way to make the room lights a little brighter.
The whole hotel is full of lovely little picturesque details. I only regret we didn't have more time to take photos inside the hotel. We unfortunately missed the complimentary cocktail at the lounge, but the breakfast buffet the next morning was great.
The front desk staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, as was Mark Wang, who helped us get sorted out with nags and communicating with out driver for our trip to the airport. I would definitely stay here again (same room!) and recommend Les Suites to anyone else heading over to Shanghai,

We spent a couple of nights here in January and really enjoyed our stay. The location is well located opposite the ferry terminal. We booked a deluxe Bund room (15th floor) which has great views of the Huangpu River. The room is very well appointed and was a pleasure to stay in. The buffet breakfast is a little chaotic and below par for an establishment on the Bund. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely return.

Window was blocked by diagonal concrete bar so I had little light and no view. Hotel also has window cleaners but they don’t forewarn you so that’s a surprise if you just come out of the shower. Location is on point though.

+1
Classic, stylish, luxurious, city hotel.
The first impression is strange because you enter the hotel in a kind of a lounge before you enter the elevator that leads you to the front desk. But at the same time the decor, gives you a sensation that you entering the 20´s 30´s decades, a kind of old colonial era mixed with a modern style but decently well combined. The rooms are spacious with an amazing view (ask for the rooms with The Bund view). All details were very well studied to give the best comfort, tv on the bath tube, a chair beside the window so that you can contemplate the view. Actually nothing to complain about, the staff always ready to help you including a room service robot, the breakfast was perfect, this is a place to return.

WOW. We arrived on the day of the International Economic Forum and President Yi was going to speak that night. We could not, per the hotel, peer out of our windows until midnight, nor could we find a restaurant to eat at within a kilometer of the hotel. Yi was staying down the block. Our room was totally comfortable with a great view of the Pudong and all the lights and the Bund. Fabulous bathroom, comfortable bed and dressing area. We enjoyed the breakfast very much.

The breakfast was absolutely below expectation, far from satisfactory and totally ruined the experience. I’ve had better breakfasts in China Tier 3 city hotels of much lower quality. Such a disappointment...
The view is fine but the rooms AC is a bit weird.

For my first time in China in December 2017, this hotel provided a very warm welcome and a comfortable, elegant room. The tub in the bathroom with a river view was very relaxing after the long flight. Also enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

This hotel is fantastic from its location, staff, and rooms with every feature you can imagine.
If you choose there is even a robot to show you to your room.
The breakfast buffet could be improved upon, but we found it satisfying.
We would stay here on a return trip to Shanghai.

If your room is not available, I would leave my bags there, relax for some complimentary snacks in their lovely lounge, then cross the road to the Bund, and maybe take a nice walk or a scenic ferry ride up and down the Huangpu river (though the latter is also worth doing at night when all the buildings are lit up).
Yes the hotel is in the middle of both.
Hotel provoide daily buffet breakfat from 7:00am to 10:00am, and including western style and chinese style.
We stayed in a large room overlooking the BUND. Beautiful and bathroom was huge. Breakfast was amazing buffet. Had everything, Chinese and American, even a cooked to order station.
