The location of the hotel is great, rooms are ok but that is basically the good thing about it.

This hotel made me realize how powerful old perceptions can be. I was expecting a budget hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Nice location for my work, quiet, solid breakfast and overall much more snazy than I expected.
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same
quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
