I always stayed in international hotels in Shanghai, this was my first one Chinese Budget hotel. I thought I would have trouble to communicate with the reception staff, but everybody was friendly and one guy spoke a couple of English words and did the rest with a translation app on his smartphone, so it worked out just fine. Anyway, it had all the amenities that I needed and best of all - FREE fast WI-FI throughout the hotel!! It is pretty accessible with the Metro around 7min walk away and there were always taxis waiting in front of the entrance. Actually I chose it because I'm a runner and Century Park (Shanghai's largest park) is close by...
