This is our fifth or so visit to Vomo (we got married there in 2011!) and we just keep on going back. We recently celebrated my 40th there and it was truly amazing. They went out of their way to make my day one to remember. The food has improved a lot since last year which shows that they take our feedback onboard. The kids love the snorkelling and the turtles, and my husband is obsessed with the fishing. We have been to other family resorts in Fiji and we keep coming back to Vomo because of the people, the beautiful island and the food. See you all in 2024!

I traveled in 2020 but never thought of writing a review till now. The island is truly amazing. The staff are wonderful. The food is delicious. Everything about this place is a delight! Our family has been to a few similar resorts in Fiji that we have loved but this the the best by far.

Absolutely amazing. Sets the bar for all other family holidays and caters exquisitely to the whole family. My kids are already bartering that all they want for birthday and Christmas presents is to return. Must shout out the amazing ocean play team and especially vili for the connections they made with my kids and their willingness to interact and make their days playing rugby and learning about turtles. Loved it is an understatement.

Justin, Jason and the entire Vomo team make an incredible holiday experience to remember. As a family we have been to Fiji many times staying at various resorts but Vomo is easily the pick of the bunch. The beaches, coral and fish are nothing short of spectacular, with a very good dive team for scuba enthusiasts. The daily free guided snorkeling tour is a must. The food at the resort for both Adults and kids is excellent, certainly more creative and interesting than other Fijian resorts with quality choices aplenty. All non alcohol beverages are included which is a massive plus (mocktails and smoothies are so good) and high end coffee was unexpected but so welcomed. Our room was very well appointed, comfy beds and right on the beach, we have 3 boys and we all had plenty of space in the one bure. For kids - Vomo delivers, kids club is split on age which gives them a better experience in terms of activities and engagement. The ocean team have a great focus on knowledge and education and my kids particularly loved the turtle program. Having a marine biologist on hand was pretty cool. For adults - the highlight is the adult pool which is strictly for adults unlike some other Fijian resorts i have been to, the adjoining restaurant and bar is next level and the view is simply breathtaking - the food and sunset drinks is incredible and not to be missed. Vomo are very clever in finding separation between Adults and kids so you can get your own time when you want it. It is honestly pretty hard to fault the place, despite the resort being full it never felt even remotely crowded. The one thing i loved the most about Vomo is the space, gardens and beaches. Our third time at heavenly Vomo. An island which is luxurious, exceeds in service, food and beverage whilst also being the most perfect place for a family holiday. The island itself is absolute heaven. The best service from arrival with Jason, Tim and our divine nanny Vika and the best Bloody Mary we have ever had with Mika. The team is faultless. We spent 5 nights on Vomo island in one of the beachfront villas. It was a most enjoyable holiday for everyone. The staff are wonderful, relaxed and friendly but attentive and efficient. The rooms are luxurious and the open onto pristine beach. No need to pack much, as there is a laundry service provided every day. The kids (6 and 8) genuinely enjoyed the kids club activities. The food was fresh and delicious. I cried when we left, and rebooked!

Our expectations were high after hearing wonderful things about the island and staff, and we are so happy to say that Vomo lived up to the hype in every way! Kind staff, incredible food and breathtaking snorkelling trips were the stand outs. The resort feels small and intimate - very special atmosphere. Getting there - we flew direct from Brisbane, and were met at the airport by a Vomo driver who took us in a clean vehicle with car seat for baby. It was a smooth ~30 min drive straight to the Marina, and a comfortable 35min boat ride. Island - absolutely stunning. We appreciated the natural beauty and lush gardens. 10/10 Room - comfortable for 2 adults and 2 small kids, with a lovely view to the ocean (only a few steps away). There is a partition that divides the room. Bed was comfortable and we appreciated the AC for cooling down for baby's nap during the day. I do think 2 separate bedrooms would be great for older kids. Food - this was honestly THE HIGHLIGHT. Absolutely surpassed all expectations! A la carte, so much variety, all beautiful & fresh. Some of the best meals we have ever eaten. The serving staff were also wonderful (special shout out to Ella who my girls both adored!). Brekkie on the beach was gorgeous and we loved that the kids could run (& we could stress less about them not being the tidiest eaters). Parent hack: you can order food from the kids menu at any time of the day - an absolute life saver. I did specifically enquire about this before we left as I was trying to decide whether to take snacks for the kids - the reception staff member I spoke with via email didn't seem to know this bit of info. Activities - we couldn't fault the team at Ocean Play they were just amazing. Special shoutout to Hannah and Cas who went above and beyond to make my 4yo daughter feel brave when she wanted to kayak with us. Highly recommend the daily snorkelling trip - colourful coral and abundant fish & sharks. Our expectations for the house reef were surpassed! We went on 2 dives and very happy with the guides and gear. Kids club - lovely kids club and we appreciated the schedule of activities being printed out in advance so we could pick and choose what we thought our kids would like to join. Lots of variety! Staff were very warm and friendly, and we felt confident our daughter was well cared for during her visits. My only real constructive criticism would be that it was never explained to us how to call / use the Nanny service for our 1yo baby. No mention at check-in, or when we first visited Kids Club to introduce ourselves. It would be great if this could be built in to the check -in process (perhaps with the baby-sitter allocated to our family coming to say hi on Day 1, introduce herself etc). We were very confused and told different things by different staff at kids club - thought we had booked the Nanny to watch baby at a certain time, but then when we arrived at the kids club she wasn't there. A clear explanation would be fantastic - your Nanny is allocated to your family for the week, here is how to contact her, you can pre-book times and can split the 4h - e.g. 2h for an activity in the morning, and then 2h at night once bub asleep so parents can eat alone. This was the only complication in an otherwise perfect stay. Thanks again to all the incredible staff - we hope to return one day soon! …

It's great to read that you found VOMO to be stunning and special and we agree the food is a stand out from our talented culinary team. They prepare over 350 different dishes each week across our daily changing menus! Your comments on the procedures for our Baby Butler and Kids Club services is highly appreciated. We have implemented some revised procedures to smooth this out and this will assist other families. The Kids village have their own dedicated Chefs and they work in shifts from 7am to 9pm, so items from this particular menu are available across that time range. Our second time at Vomo and it will certainly not be our last. If you are looking for a luxury family holiday, Vomo is the number one destination in Fiji. As a family with young kids, we could not ask for a better kids club and nanny experience nor a kids menu which suits even the pickiest of eaters. While the resort is luxurious, it is not "stuffy" and kids are always welcome along with resort attire. The snorkelling team are excellent and taught our son how to snorkel with such confidence. It is wonderful to see the kids make friendships with other kids in the pool and at kids club, they all have an absolute ball together. This is amazing as it allows us parents to enjoy family time and "adulting" while on holiday. On adulting time you can enjoy the adults only pool, restaurant, bar or park yourself in a hammock with a book on the beach and you feel like you are the only person on the island. Every meal is cooked to perfection, the menu will cater to your dietary requirements and the management team are always available to check-in to see if you need anything else. We always leave Vomo saying we should of booked an extra few nights, it is never enough. Thank you Vomo family for always making it a memorable and special time. …

We have travelled all over the world, both as a couple and as a family, but this was truly a next level experience of luxury, incredible food, genuine and warm service and above all else, a genuine escape from ordinary life. The food menu changes daily and has enough to cater for all tastes. We have never eaten so much or so well. As we stepped out of our beachside villa we could literally walk straight into the ocean for crystal blue waters and amazing snorkelling. Coral and fish of colours unmatched with any beach snorkelling we have done. Our family of 4 (children aged 13 and 8) easily shared a beachside villa. Not that we spent much time there!! It was especially nice for our teenage son who often has little to do on resorts unless he finds another boys his age - because he could wander the island and chat to staff, or walk to the Ocean Play area and amuse himself with a variety of water sports. Starfish found on the beach, a fishing charter to catch big fish, a casual walk on white sands.. we skipped into a relaxed ease within hours of arriving and tears formed in our eyes as the farewell song was sung on the last day. Our biggest sadness is July next year is already fully booked! We can see why. Our best family holiday so far. We will be back - when we can get in!! Vinaka Vomo. A magical holiday.…

This is the best family holiday I have ever been on (2 adults, plus 3yo and 9yo). The staff are extraordinary, and will with authentic care do anything required to take care of your children, any issue, and address any booking you need. The kids club is fantastic and the nannies and 'bulla buddies' (hi Reuben and Una!) are expert at keeping kids of all ages happy. The island is postcard perfect - to the point that our photos probably don't even look real. There is no traffic, and everything seems safe, so kids can run around. The food is to die for. The hiking trails are magnificent, and you can walk around the entire island in 1-2 hours at low tide. The daily snorkelling trip at 11am takes you to accessible reefs with hundreds of fish and living reef. The management and senior staff (and even the owners in our case!) make a point of chatting to you and getting to know you. I just cannot fault this place not speak of it more highly. It is expensive in absolute terms, but the fact that it is 'all inclusive' means you don't ever thinking about the cost of 'this or that', and can just enjoy everything. …
