We spent our 41st anniversary at this wonderfully peaceful bed and breakfast. Greg and Deborah are perfect hosts. What a great first time at Orange Beach. The amenities are superb in this wonderful old beach home. Comfortable beds, scrumptious hot breakfasts, wine and cheese each afternoon, inviting swimming pool, hot tub, and great boardwalk leading to practically a private white...

Loved, loved, loved it! This place is relaxing, comfortable and quiet. Pool was gorgeous, hot tub was fabulous and we pretty much had the stretch of beach to ourselves!!!! Breakfast was amazing. Also enjoyed wine and cheese in the early evening which was a good time to discuss potential restaurants for dinner. And, we were able to meet other guests...

This is the perfect spot for a couple looking to experience the beauty of Alabama's gulf shore but not hassle with the crowds of this popular location. As with most B&Bs, this is an adult only location. The beach is very private due to ownership of the land down to a certain part of the tide. I loved the secluded...

We sure hope ya'll get to return someday too! We do love our beach area. It is nice being located next to a residential area to a degree as we don't have alot of traffic on our beach section. We so appreciate the time you have taken to share your experience here with us. Greg N Deb

I wanted to go to the beach, my husband wanted to take me. I wanted a "home" setting, with comfort and easy access to the beach, he needed relaxation and no stress or drama. This fit the bill completely. Waking early for coffee on the deck, watching the water (and dolphins!). Breakfast was amazing each day, banana/pecan pancakes to a...

Thank you so much for your kind response. It means so much to both of us. One thing you spoke of is something we strive for....everyone having their own personal space, so to speak. My wife & I were in town for a family wedding and ended up at Romar after another party was unable to make the trip. Very glad we had the opportunity as Greg & Deborah were fantastic & caring hosts! A lot of charm and excellent breakfast. Was our first time to Orange Beach but will definitely pick the Romar...

While looking for a b&b on the beach I came upon ORH. After reading all the reviews I decided to give it a try. We spent 3 nights celebrating my husband's birthday, our anniversary and Father's Day. Greg and Deborah were waiting for us at the front door with smiles, wine and cheese...just what we needed after getting caught in...

I booked a room at the Romar for a birthday weekend that completed my gal’s quest to visit all 50 states. Even though it was off season and a bit chilly it was a great change of pace from Wyoming winter. This B&B is a throw back to an earlier era before developers built high rises to maximize their profits....

We want to say a great big "thank you" for the nice things you've shared about The Original Romar House Bed & Breakfast Inn and us. I was completing a visit to all 50 states and Alabama was my 50th. I wanted to be on the beach and the Romar House is exactly that - a boardwalk right onto the white sands!! The hosts were fantastic and my room was very cozy (that means small) but it was just perfect for a solo visitor. I truly...

We want to thank you so very much for allowing The Original Romar House Bed and Breakfast Inn to be your first stay in our lovely State of Alabama. Sandwiched between a large hotel and another even larger one, the Original Romar House has a quiet charm. Being the oldest building (as far as I understand it) in Orange Beach, we enjoyed its rich history and colorful quaintness.
