Bad start off due to unfriendly receptionist (hint: skinny malay girl with glasses). Super annoying, no smile receive at all and no thank you either on the day I returned my key. I know this is a budget hotel but i have been in a much cheaper hotel with better service and amenities. No pipe in toilet & slow wifi... More

Good hotel, clean bathroom, clean room. Friendly staff. Value for money. But far from city centre. I stay in room 315 and 309. Excellent wifi signal only in room 315 but not in 309. But most wonderful is very near to masjid, about 60 meter only.

Stayed 2 days 1 night. 1st trip to Malacca and 1st experience at hotel. Outside looks very promising, but once entered room, its a sorry sight. Room smells upon entering, have to switch on aircon and opened door, equipments in room very run-down. Albeit, rate is cheap. Misled by website. No minibar. Staffs are friendly, no comments.

I spent one night in Semabok Inn on 18th Dec 2011. I ended up in Semabok Inn because all the established hotels were fully booked out. Prior to this, I've never even heard of Semabok Inn. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the hotel is reasonably close to both the Town Center and Ayer Keroh (5-10 minutes by car either ways,... More

Stayed at the hotel for a period of 3 days 2 nights. Hotel location is reasonably close to the town centre, approx 5-10mins drive depending on traffic. For the hotel itself, looks promising from the outside with the neon lights and signboard but the room itself is in a true sorry state, even after claims that they have actually revamped... More

I've went to melaka on 2 nov 2010 and I stayed at here for 2 nights. I chose a queen bed room. The bathroom was nice and the hot water shower is definitely my saviour after a long day. In melaka you have you to get your own transport unless you are staying in town, where the hotels are most... More
